Major performance upgrades and now with added love for vinyl. In the six years since the last NAIT integrated amplifiers were released, our research and development team have worked on a range of amplifier improvements. The result is upgraded power amplifier sections for SUPERNAIT 3, delivering greater pace and intimacy to their musical delivery – whether it's driving a pair of loudspeakers or your favourite pair of headphones. SUPERNAIT 3 has received significant performance upgrades, including a built-in phono stage, making it a perfect partner for turntables, as well as for streamers, CD players, or any other music source people want to enjoy with the signature Naim sound. It also includes a Class A preamp output stage which doubles as a headphone amplifier and ceramic heatsink technology that minimises capacitive coupling between the chassis and output transistors for optimum sound quality. Its inputs are each individually decoupled and hand-wired to minimise noise and interference while internal switching employs ultra-low-noise, constant current sources which are derived directly from the electronic design of the flagship NAC 552 preamplifier. The SUPERNAIT 3 can be upgraded with our external power supplies, power amplifiers and even cabling upgrades to get the best from all sources. With our typical obsessive attention to detail – all in service of achieving the most authentic musical performance – the SUPERNAIT 3 benefits from the following features: Class A headphone amplification Alps Blue Velvet volume control Reed relay input selection Ceramic insulators for the power transistors Galvanically isolated microprocessor control section Microphonic-isolating PCB mounts Step up from the NAIT XS3 to the SUPERNAIT 3 and you benefit from a range of superior features, all designed to deliver even better sound quality: Full 24V DR module built-in: enjoy the purer power and performance improvement of Naim’s Discrete Regulation technology for the entire pre-amp stage. Larger toroidal transformer in the power supply: provides greater power and speed of recovery Additional leaded through-hole components in the signal path: further minimises negative effects of vibration and transient thermal conditions Chassis-mounted input sockets hand-wired to the circuit boards: offers enhanced vibration isolation Full Alps Blue Velvet balance control Our R&D team has found a way to more than double the speed of the voltage gain stage, which in turn doubles the rate at which the speaker output stage can react. The second gain stage transistors have been optimised, so they no longer need to be shielded by a cascode stage transistor. Removing the cascode means less amplifier stabilisation is required: that doubles the slew rate and delivers an uplift in sound quality. The phono circuit topology comprises 3 stages: the gain stage, passive equalisation and final gain and active equalisation. This enables excellent noise performance, extended RIAA equalisation beyond the audio band and great overload headroom. All RIAA equalisation capacitors and the RIAA resistors are ‘through-hole’ mounted film designs, with low microphonic pickup and excellent transient performance. As phono stages are 1000x more sensitive than other inputs, this greatly benefits the sound quality. Input impedance is 47kΩ in parallel with 470pF capacitive loading; the gain is perfect for 5mV moving magnet cartridges. Audio Inputs: MM Phono Input: via RCA, 47k parallel 470pF input impedance, suitable for 5mV cartridges Line Level Inputs: 130mV sensitivity, 47k input impedance, suitable for 2V Power Amp In: DIN Socket Audio Outputs: Powered Accessory Sockets: +24V for Naim phono amplifier Speaker Outputs: 80W per channel into 8 ohms (4mm sockets), 130W per channel into 4 ohms Line Outputs Variable (level): Pre-amp (DIN), Bi-amp (DIN), Sub (RCA pair) 775mV,

Super Lumina speaker cables are designed to minimise the effect of external and internal interference sources and preserve maximum signal fidelity. The fundamental cable design consists of several individually-insulated multi-strand silver-plated copper conductors of varying diameters enclosed in a tin-plated copper shield. This is all enclosed in a soft outer jacket which facilitates easy installation whilst minimising microphonic interference. Each signal, return, ground and shield conductor is individually manufactured for its specific function. Each Super Lumina cable is hand-assembled at Naim Audio in Salisbury to the customer’s specification of length and termination. The process is intricate and highly-skilled, following detailed instructions which cover every aspect of the build. Every cable also goes through a proprietary de-stressing process to relieve the materials of the inherent stresses which are a result of the manufacturing process. This means the cables reach optimum performance with minimal run in time.
Our Fraim equipment support system has been carefully designed to provide the perfect platform for Naim Audio electronics to shine. Each level is carefully isolated from the next using a cup-and-cone interface. An additional, double-layer base platform provides further isolation from resonance. A toughened glass sub-shelf rests on minimal-contact ball decouplers, providing even more isolation. From the stainless steel spikes, which complete the process of isolation, to the zinc-plated steel nuts and studs that tie everything together, each individual component of the Fraim has been selected for its effect on sound quality. You’d expect nothing less from us. FeaturesFraim platforms available in Natural Ash, Cherry (tinted and non-tinted) and Black finishesExtruded, anodised aluminium Fraim legs available in three heights, and in silver or black finishesModular design allows for system expansion over timeFully decoupled structure with inter-level cup-and-cone interfaces and toughened glass sub-shelf supported on ball bearingsDouble-layer base level plus stainless steel floor spikes for maximum isolationOptimised shelf spacing to reduce magnetic interaction between componentsTechnology & CraftOur development of the Fraim marked the first time the full engineering resources of a high-end audio manufacturer had been deployed in the design of an equipment stand. The Fraim brings more detail, pace and focus to music, working in harmony with the Naim Audio philosophy that makes the fundamentals of music – pitch, timing and dynamics – the priorities. The Fraim principle is that successive minimal contact interfaces progressively decouple the transmission of mechanical energy. This includes the micro-vibrations created when products are immersed in a sound field and those generated by all products while operating, including power supplies. At the same time the interfaces provide a fixed reference plane on which the internal isolation systems of each item of electronics can perform optimally. Additionally, the shelf height options are configured to ensure that magnetic field interaction between electronic products is minimised.Fraim material selection is as significant as the arrangement of its components. Super hard stainless steel, toughened glass selected following intensive listening tests, large section anodised aluminium extrusion and veneered wood composites all contribute to equipment support that both performs to perfection and perfectly complements the Naim Audio aesthetic.Self OptionsThe price shown is for a Naim Fraim Shelf Unit only. These shelves are available in heights of "standard" at 115mm, "medium" at 190mm and "tall" at 264mm. The Naim Fraim Base is available for a full stand as pictured - please contact us for a quote.
FraimLite is a stripped back version of Naim's reference Fraim, and operates on the same principles, providing a rigid, self-levelling platform for supported hi-fi equipment that isolates hi-fi separates from each other and their environment. Its simplified design results in a more affordable and simpler-to-set-up equipment support system that still looks stunning in a modern domestic listening room.FraimLite consists of individual levels that are placed one upon another and which can be added or completely changed in configuration as the equipment is upgraded. Its self-levelling tripod structure means there are no adjustments needed to remove rocking or vibration and assembly is quick and easy. The FraimLite uses the same high-calibre materials, minimal contact cone and cup interfaces and floor spikes as the Fraim. The FraimLite forgoes the glass sub-shelf and ball bearing decouplers of the Fraim and has only a single base layer. This accounts for the difference in performance between the two models and has the advantage of making FraimLite more cost effective and even easier to transport and assemble. As with the Fraim, the spacing between levels is designed to minimise magnetic field interactions between the equipment, and non-ferrous materials have been used wherever possible to further reduce magnetic effects.Stand OptionsThe price shown is for a Naim FraimLite Twinpack Standard Unit only.Separate additional shelves (in heights of "standard" at 115mm, "medium" at 190mm and "tall" at 264mm) as well as color combinations, are available for a full stand as pictured. Naim Audio has proudly designed and handcrafted music systems in the historic English city of Salisbury for almost 50 years. Just outside the city lies the World Heritage site of Stonehenge, its Neolithic standing stones perfectly framing the movements of the sun. We didn’t need to look far for naming inspiration for this very Special Edition, nor did we need to deviate from our own heritage: although Solstice is our first turntable, we have been venerating vinyl since the genesis of Naim in the late 1960s. If you love the organic authenticity of vinyl, you can now finally enjoy it with the musical purity and passion only a Naim system can deliver - welcome to a new dawn for music.

The XPS is a simple and effective upgrade to enhance the music-making ability of your Naim Audio source component. As one of our most flexible performers it can be used to upgrade our CDX2 CD player and DAC digital to analogue converter, and it is also suitable for use with our NDS, NDX and ND5 XS network players and HDX hard-disk player/server. Its large toroidal transformer features four separate windings, coupled to six low-noise regulators and benefits from Naim Audio DR voltage regulator technology Features: Four isolated transformer windings with six low-noise DR power regulators - configured as two isolated regulators for digital at +15V, isolated +/-10V for DACs and isolated +/-23V for analogue stages All-new Discrete Regulator (DR) configuration, delivering Naim Audio’s best-ever standards of stable, low-noise power Brushed, black-anodised aluminium chassis plus anti-vibration feet Technology & Craft The Naim Audio XPS is a highly sophisticated power supply with six separately regulated, very low noise outputs, featuring a toroidal transformer and six power regulators. These supplies are branched and re-regulated, some twice in the CD player. The addition of anti-vibration, resonance-controlling feet complement the elegant cast and extruded anti-magnetic chassis protect the sensitive internal components from resonance and microphonic vibration. The XPS was updated in 2012 as a result of a two year project to develop a new discrete regulator (DR) for Naim Audio power supplies. The new Naim Audio DR now features, alongside improvements to the mechanical decoupling and internal layout. These enhancements, developed through intensive listening tests, significantly raise performance and make music even more communicative and enjoyable. Please note Only new classic series XPS units are compatible with the NDX network player, not ‘Olive’ versions. The old ‘Olive’ XPS is still compatible with CDX and CDS model CD players, the HDX hard disk player and the DAC digital to analogue converter however. Please consult your Naim Audio retailer if you are unsure of compatibility. During the development of the reference CD555 CD player, a special project ran in parallel; to develop a new signal cable that would exceed the performance our standard signal cable. The brief was to investigate all parameters of a signal carrier; to improve the whole rather than just improving the cable as is the more normal development practice. The result of this pure development project is the Hi-Line signal cable. Available with both DIN and RCA terminations, its patented Air-PLUG connector is a decoupling device that reduces vibration transmitted along the cable itself, preserving your system’s precious musicality. Features Patented Air-PLUG decoupling mechanism prevents vibration transmission through the cable Twisted-pair cable construction consisting of 80 litz conductors surrounded by individual spiral shielding layers of PTFE and Kapton RCA or DIN terminations available, plus DIN-to-RCA if needed Technology & Craft The Hi-Line Air-PLUG (patented) is designed as a decoupling device to minimise microphonic interference and preserve the integrity of the audio signal. The many different rear sections of the Air-PLUG are clipped together to form a lossy flexible section. The cable is clamped compliantly to the end of this flexible section. The cable itself was also carefully designed to preserve audio signal integrity so improving sound quality. It is manufactured from twisted pairs of 80 Litz conductors surrounded by PTFE, Kapton and PTFE tape all then enclosed within a semi conductive shield to reduce static charges. This is then wrapped by two spiral wound copper shields and lapped PTFE tape. Two of these assemblies side by side are then wrapped in layers of PTFE tape and finally a rubber outer covering. This gives a two-channel cable where the signal and RF grounds are held in a static position relative to each other negating any difference in field between them.

During the development of Statement, our flagship amplification system, our engineers realised that they would need to design a whole new range of high-performance cables for it to reach its true potential. With this in mind they began a development project to design interconnects and speaker cable that would meet Statement standards of performance. Through a deep understanding of material science and after thousands of hours testing in the listening room, the Super Lumina range was born. Designed to maximise the performance of Statement but equally at home in 500 Series and Classic Series systems, Super Lumina pre to power amp interconnects are available with DIN to XLR, and XLR to XLR terminations. Super Lumina source to preamplifier interconnects are available with DIN to DIN, DIN to RCA, RCA to RCA and RCA to XLR connectors. Features Super Lumina interconnects are designed to minimise the effect of external and internal interference sources and preserve maximum signal fidelity. The Naim Audio Air-PLUG The Super Lumina interconnects feature an advanced version of Naim Audio’s patented Air-PLUG technology first introduced for the Hi-Line. All DIN and XLR connectors use the Air-PLUG connector which is designed as a decoupling device to minimise microphonic interference and preserve the integrity of the audio signal. The new Super Lumina Air-PLUG features multiple individual aluminium rings which form the rear of the connector. These are screwed together to form an articulating section which inhibits the passage of unwanted energy, the choice of aluminium as a material enhances this process. The connector pins on DIN terminated cables also float within their sockets, extending the decoupling effect right to the point where the signal enters the product.

To us, a smooth, stable, low-noise supply is critical. It’s absolutely fundamental to performance. That’s why we designed the Power-Line mains cable. Its complex, precision-engineered construction has been defined and refined following solid mechanical engineering principles and then confirmed after hundreds of hours of testing in the listening room. We invite you to experience the difference it can make to your system for yourself at your local Naim Audio retailer. You won’t be disappointed. Features Thermoset resin plug cases with floating pins for superior electrical contact 4mm2 copper conductors with individual dielectric insulation Rubber outer sheath for high levels of inherent mechanical damping 2m length for added flexibility with installations Technology & Craft The Power-Line mains plug features a thermoset resin case carrying floating pins that align to provide an enhanced contact area with the socket connections. The stripped cable ends are secured by specially profiled clamp screws and the cable is both decoupled and clamped by an ingenious die-cast component. The Power-Line cable itself is custom manufactured with 4mm² cross section copper conductors, individual dielectric insulation and a final rubber outer that provides both high levels of inherent mechanical damping, and the correct stiffness to aid dressing on installation. Completing the Power-Line is an IEC inlet plug that continues many of the decoupling and electrical continuity themes of the mains plug. It features floating contacts, combined decoupling and clamping, double wiper contacts and case eddy current suppression.
Every link in the hi-fi chain is important. Connections between components, including those to the loudspeakers, are crucial to the performance of any audio system. NAC A5 is our multi-strand loudspeaker cable, consisting of two separated 4mm2 conductors. Its design is optimised for use with Naim Audio amplifiers and any loudspeakers by ensuring that its capacitance, inductance and resistance are entirely compatible. We strongly recommend its use, along with our right-angled, twin loudspeaker plugs, which provide a safe, convenient and very effective connection. Even their plating has been the subject of research and development work. Features Twin separated 4mm2 conductors Design and build optimised for Naim Audio amplifiers Available in black and white

Crafted for pure musical performance, Statement is the pinnacle of Naim Audio engineering knowledge and artistry. The series comprises the NAC S1 preamplifier and NAP S1 mono power amplifiers. Origins The idea for an entirely new kind of amplifier was first conceived by our engineers over a decade ago and development began in earnest in 2011. The objective was to set a new reference standard in high-end audio and music reproduction. The result is Statement. Three years of relentless questioning, iterative design and a point blank refusal to accept no as an answer. Performance First Engineering Product engineers often begin with what exists already. They might ask how something can work better, or where improvements can be made. With Statement, we started with a blank sheet of paper and a vision: to create the ultimate amplifier. After the initial concept stage the engineering team set aside practical considerations and began to map out the product in free space. This creative freedom was then backed up by 3D computer models which confirmed the optimum position for each component. To accommodate this new layout Statement pioneers a new vertical structure. It was the best way to minimise electromagnetic and mechanical interference and maximise thermal performance. Duality In Design Statement's radically different aesthetic may seem like a departure from Naim Audio tradition but it's the ultimate expression of everything we represent. The imposing monolithic structure with its stark silhouette is offset by the organic sculptural flow of the heat sink and the beautifully lit volume control and central divide. This duality in the design reflects how our pursuit of technical brilliance is always grounded in the abstract human experience of music. If it's the best amplifier in the world in lab tests we’ve only done half a job - it's in the listening room where it really counts. Technology Everything about Statement is a leap forward in technology and design. It's been engineered from the ground up for pure performance. Isolation Statement perfectly represents our philosophy of providing the highest quality power supply, while isolating individual sections to avoid unwanted interference. The NAC S1 and NAP S1 share the same fundamental layout. The noisy power supply is housed in the base and sensitive electronics are nestled above. Each section is divided by an acrylic centre-piece that blocks interaction. Top section electronics are separated further still, with internal chambers isolating individual stages. Dual Power The Statement NAP S1 features a new bridged dual design with zero global feedback. The two stages are physically separated to optimise the amplifier circuit with the delicate voltage stage at the very top of the power amplifier, away from the current stage at the bottom. Each mono power amplifier uses a huge 4000VA transformer to power speakers with precisely 746W (into 8 ohms). Precision engineering also makes sure every single watt is delivered right to where it's needed, when it's needed. After all, power is nothing without purpose. Craft Every component, curve and connection in Statement demanded new levels of engineering and tolerance. Metallurgy The distinctive ‘wave’ heat sinks begin life as a solid billet of untreated aluminium, which is cut to size and machined to achieve the curved profile. The fins are then cut using a five-axis, temperature-controlled, CNC machine. It takes three hours for the finished shape to emerge. Once each piece is individually machined, it is painstakingly hand-polished and quality inspected. Finishing After the inspection process, the metalwork is submerged in baths of cleansing acid and then into a bath of electrolyte fluid containing black ink. A current is passed through it, bonding the ink to the metalwork and creating Naim Audio's signature black finish. It took several months of collaboration between our engineers and suppliers to achieve the finish Statement demanded. Hand-Crafting Statement has been designed and developed using cutting-edge manufacturing technology. But it takes a human touch to get things just right. For example, every sound-critical component is positioned and soldered by hand by our skilled technicians. As with all Naim Audio products final assembly is carried out by hand in Wiltshire, England. NAC S1 Audio Inputs: Analogue Input: 3 X DIN, 3 X RCA, 2 X Balanced Audio Outputs: Audio Outputs: 1 X Balanced, 2 X Unbalanced (4 pin DIN sockets) Physical: Weight: 61.5kg Dimensions (HxWxD): 940 x 270 x 412mm (width includes stabiliser)

A rich audio heritage The ND 555 is the result of over four decades of audio engineering. From our state-of-the-art streaming module to powerful, natural-sounding audio stages – every element of this network player is built on our design DNA, giving it that distinctive, captivating Naim sound. The ND 555 development process also helped us step foot into new technologies: for the first time, we’ve added low-voltage differential signalling (LVDS) to a premium Naim player. We chose LVDS because it minimises timing errors due to its fast speed and it minimises radiation thanks to its low noise. Expert craftsmanship The ND 555 is bristling with innovative technology from input to output. The streaming section uses the latest Naim network card featuring low-noise, high-speed LVDS to route the digital audio signal. The higher speed is capable of decoding most HD audio formats at up to 32 bits/384 kHz or DSD128. Rather than the source acting as the digital timing master, our new streaming board turns things around and allows our DAC clock to control the flow of audio data. The data is integer-over-sampled in a SHARC DSP to an incredible 40-bit accuracy and fed into the Burr-Brown® PCM1704, a true R2R ladder DAC valued for its exceptional sound quality. Naim’s renowned DR regulator technology, as used in our range of amplifiers and power supplies, makes its first appearance in a network player, providing ultra-pure DC voltage to the sensitive audio circuitry in the ND 555. The analogue stages use only high-grade through-hole components and are suspended on sprung sub-chassis with heavy brass plates to minimise the effects of microphony. Absolute control There are several ways to control ND 555. The Naim App for iOS and Android gives you complete control over individual or multiple Naim products. You can access all of your music including radio pre-sets, streaming services and playlists, sync several Naim players for multiroom playback or explore artist discographies and biographies. The app also controls our Uniti Core music server (so there’s no need for two separate apps) and allows you to update your system wirelessly with a single tap. For those who prefer a more tactile experience, a premium metal Zigbee® remote control is supplied. It requires no line of sight to the player, so you can take control whatever direction you’re facing. The front panel features a 5” colour display presenting album artwork as well as track information in crisp detail, and there are keys for most commonly used functions including standby and input selection. As the debut product in our reference 500 Series range, the NAP 500 is a monumental expression of Naim Audio amplifier technology. Its design was honed over six years of collaborative work with suppliers of specialist parts and each product takes days of dedicated assembly by our most skilled technicians in Salisbury. It’s this eye for detail, alongside its remarkable power, that allows the NAP 500 to bring your music into breath-taking focus. New Statement Technology Our flagship Statement amplification system was ten years in the making. The research and development project drew on all of our knowledge and expertise, yielding several breakthroughs in technology. We’ve recently introduced two new technologies from the Statement project to our core range of power amplifiers. The NAP 500 now features the new NA009 transistors first introduced in Statement. In development for over a year, this key component was created in partnership with a specialist semi-conductor manufacturer to achieve the best possible sound quality. The 500 also includes the high power Naim Audio DR (Discrete Regulator) technology used in Statement to provide the smooth, stable power supply we know is critical for the audio electronics to make music come to life. These two new technologies, combined with other small improvements to layout and componentry, mean the NAP 500 DR can produce even more of the fundamental musical pace, rhythm and timing that made the originals so popular with music lovers. Features: 140W per channel output into 8 ohms; capable of prolonged output into 2 ohms with no discernible impact on performance Bridged power amplifier configuration for maximised open and closed-loop speed, with ten stages of local regulation per channel Two-box configuration with 500 PS power supply for optimum rejection of electromagnetic interference 1,100VA toroidal transformer provides 12 raw DC supplies for the power amplifier 25kg brushed, black-anodised chassis with distinctive heatsink plus variable speed intelligent fan system for discreet extra cooling if required Technology & Craft The NAP 500 delivers 140W per channel into 8 ohms and is capable of prolonged output into 2 ohms with no discernible impact to performance. Its two box configuration is classic Naim Audio, with the power supply completely removed to the separate 500 PS power supply for ultimate performance. Each channel of the NAP 500 includes ten stages of local regulation. To reduce interference from the mains supply further, the transformer and first stages of the power supply are in a separate enclosure, the 500 PS, which provides twelve raw D.C. supplies for the power amplifier. A bridged configuration allow for maximised open and closed loop speed, less intrusive protection circuitry and reduced interaction between input and output signals as the very high drive currents to the loudspeaker do not flow through the system earth. The NAP 500 also features the new output transistor, the NA009, specifically designed for the purpose through months of collaborative work with a specialist supplier. The circuit topology has been developed to maximise bandwidth and reduce distortion and power supply dependency. Also, special attention has been paid to reducing thermally-induced noise, an especially important consideration in power amplifiers.
