Protect and enhance your vinyl collection with "Un-Ryu Washi" paper, only from TEAC.The TA-TS30UN-BW is an inventional turntable sheet to provide an optimized condition for vinyl record playing.Removing dust on vinyl records with a dust sweeper is one of the most ceremonious things when play music, and it is an emotional moment for the greatest experience that about to begin. However, it may sometimes a bothering process to remove dust persistently sticks on the records due to static, which makes you annoy. In order to provide a comfortable moment of listening to muisc, we considered removing static from records is essential to make this ceremony excite, and tried to find the best material for a turntable sheet from the scratch. Traditionally, silicon rubber, felt or cork is used for turntable sheet, because of its attribute of shock-absorbing. However, we considered the most essential things for turntable sheet is to reduce static, and came to a conclusion of using "WASHI" after dozens tests to find an ideal material that matches the condition."WASHI" is a traditional Japanese paper made from the ?bers of Mulberry trees. With natural durability, it’s been widely used for UKIYO-E printings and paper currency for centuries. Recently, it’s been re-discovered and used for stationary and interior fabrics for its beautiful design and excellent functionality. Particularly, "Un-Ryu Shi" is a unique type of WASHI made using special techniques which, showcasing the skill of the craftsman, can be seen in the characteristic ?ber pattern on the paper. By combining this WASHI with Stone-paper for core material, this turntable sheet gains mass and becomes uniformly flat, while restricting vibration, reducing static electricity, and preventing dust from accumulating. The TA-T30UN is the ultimate turntable sheet that provides an ideal condition for record playing at the highest dimension.Features at a glanceAnti-static WASHI paper for easy dust removalUnique watermark pattern of fiber on “Un-Ryu Shi”Moderate-weighted Stone-paper for core materialReversible design to match atmosphere of the room

Newly-developed VRDS mechanismStarting with a drive we developed that has a long record of use in broadcast applications, we added VRDS technologies, which are part of our TEAC legacy.Vibration-Free Rigid Disc-Clamping System (VRDS)This TEAC-original CD drive mechanism reduces rotation vibration of the disc itself as well as unwanted mechanism vibration by clamping the CD to an aluminum turntable with the same diameter and maximizing inertial mass in order to stabilize rotation. Servo current is reduced with the turntable by correcting disc warping and distortion and improving the relative optical axis precision of the pickup and disc pit side. This realizes reduced disc reading errors and outstanding audio quality.Bridge section supports the VRDSFor the bridge that supports the turntable, we carefully selected lightweight materials that are very rigid and do not transmit vibration. By naturally settling vibrations quickly, we have realized a wide, dynamic sound. The bridge, which has a torus structure made of resin, is only fixed on one side, and propagation of vibration from the CD mechanism to the opposite side through the bridge is suppressed, so the entire mechanism minimizes unwanted sympathetic vibrations.Semi-floating mountingThe entire CD mechanism is mounted on the sub-chassis in a semi-floating state. By controlling the transmission of vibrations between the CD mechanism and the chassis, the impact of sympathetic vibrations is abated, and natural playback sound is realized throughout the frequency range. By isolating motor vibrations from the main chassis, sympathetic vibrations within the chassis are prevented. At the same time, the CD mechanism is also isolated from external vibrations. Reading precision is also increased by isolating the CD mechanism from external vibrations.TEAC ΔΣ (delta-sigma) discrete DACInstead of an ordinary DAC IC, the DAC section, which is critical for determining the sound, is a TEAC ΔΣ (Delta Sigma) discrete DAC that consists of a discrete circuit structure that incorporates our unique algorithms using FPGA. DSD signals are left as is, while PCM signals are converted to 1-bit using a ΔΣ modulator and then output as high-quality analog signals. The sound field that is wide and perfectly clear can be realized only because of this discrete design. The result is that we can say we have achieved the sound sought by TEAC. With a TEAC ΔΣ discrete DAC, playback of 22.5MHz DSD and 384kHz/32-bit PCM data is possible.Dual mono structureUsing independent left and right toroidal core transformers, we have employed an indulgent dual mono structure for the circuitry from the power supply circuit through the D/A converter section to the analog output stage. The dual mono structure has two sets of circuitry that provide complete mono paths for each channel. This prevents interference between the left and right signals and realizes rich musical expression that emphasizes perception of the sound space and three dimensionality.Fully-balanced transmission at every stageFully-balanced transmission of the left and right analog output signals from D/A conversion to the final output stage contributes greatly to improving the signal-to-noise ratio and extending the dynamic range. The sense of air that high-resolution audio sources have can be transmitted without loss in an even purer state.Direct connection is possible with power amplifiers that use TEAC-QVCSThis player can be directly connected to a power amp and used without a preamp due to the inclusion of TEAC-QVCS, which is an analog variable gain amp type attenuator with a fully-balanced structure. TEAC-QVCS (Quad Volume Control System) is a variable gain amp type volume control comprised of four discrete left, right, positive and negative (L+, L–, R? and R–) circuits. This theoretically prevents "gang errors" (level discrepancies between left and right channels at low volumes) and enables extremely precise analog volume adjustment in 0.5dB increments from–95 dB to ?24 dB. The two sets of analog outputs (balanced/unbalanced) can be set to fixed or variable output.Inclusion of an MQA full decoder enables MQA CD playbackMQA (Master Quality Authenticated) is a high-quality audio codec for playing music with the uncompromised quality of the master captured in the studio. The VRDS-701 includes an MQA decoder that controls waveforms converted from digital to analog at a precision as high as 5ms in order to achieve analog waveforms that are more faithful to the original sound sources. By greatly reducing “temporal blur,” which tends to occur at points when sound pressure differences are extreme, including when sounds begin suddenly, playback sound that is close to the original source in terms of human hearing can be achieved. The inclusion of an MQA full-decoder not only enables enjoyment of MQA CDs, it also makes decoding of MQA data from the digital inputs possible, allowing playback of MQA files from a computer when used as a USB DAC.As a USB DAC, 22.5MHz DSD and 384kHz/32-bit PCM data can be played backA USB Type-C port is available for digital input. The VRDS-701 is much more than a CD player. Connected to a computer with USB, it can be used as a USB DAC, enabling enjoyment of the computer audio world with high-resolution audio sources.2×, 4× and 8× upconversion using RDOT-NEORDOT-NEO (Refined Digital Output Technology NEO), which smoothly augments digital audio signals, provides a function to upconvert the sampling frequency of PCM digital signals 2×, 4× or 8× (up to 384 kHz). RDOT, which applies an analogous interpolation method using fluency logic, is a technology that was developed to enable the playback of the frequencies higher than 20 kHz that are lost by the 44.1kHz/16-bit CD format. Based on the information read from the CD, analogous data is generated between the waveform samples. As a result, data above 20 kHz is also generated.10MHz external clock inputThe 10MHz clock input allows synchronization with an external clock. In addition to improving audio quality during playback with the VRDS-701, this also enables synchronization of the entire system with a clock generator.High-precision dual clock for 44.1kHz and 48kHz multiples with low phase noiseThis player has low-phase-noise type high-precision crystal oscillators. Along with 44.1kHz for CD playback, it supports 48kHz clock, which is necessary for playing files from a computer when used as a USB DAC.Power supply enhanced by three high-capacity toroidal core transformersIn addition to a toroidal core transformer for the analog signals, the digital control section and the CD mechanism each have independent high-capacity toroidal core transformers. Through the supply of steady current using these three toroidal core transformers, the sudden starts and stops of sounds can be expressed clearly, realizing outstanding sound linearity. The transformers are each mounted to the sub-chassis, controlling vibrations.TEAC-HCLD? enhanced-current output buffer amp circuitFor the analog output circuit, the TEAC-HCLD 2 circuit is an enhanced-current output buffer amp that increases crucial current transmission capability. This model uses diamond buffer amps with high current output capacity as line drivers. By using a positive-negative two-circuit structure for each channel, drive can be differential with balanced output and parallel with unbalanced output. Transmitting audio signals without degrading their dynamism becomes possible with increased current supply capacity.Headphone ampThe headphone amp has a dedicated driver that uses a high-output circuit with low distortion, high signal-to-noise ratio and a high 2000V/μs through rate, equivalent to a current transmission enhancing output line driver. This will maximize the potential of your headphones.Bulk Pet USB communication technology enables stable data transmissionWhen sending vast quantities of digital data for high-resolution audio sources through USB cables, large discrepancies can occur in the processing loads of both the transmitting computer and the receiving USB DAC. This creates the possibility of the sound breaking up and other problems. Using Bulk Pet USB transmission technology, however, achieves constant transmission at a fixed data volume, enabling steady data transmission by smoothing the loads for processing on both ends. Since the audio quality can be altered by changing the load on the computer, four preset transmission modes can be chosen according to the desired audio quality.Thorough design for vibration controlPower transformers, which tend to generate vibration, are mounted on a floating structure, separating and isolating them from the bottom panel. The side fins for heat dissipation have been tailored so that each one has a different length in order to eliminate sympathetic vibrations.Three supporting pinpoint feet made of machined steel with a unique structureThe circuit board attachment screws have been kept to a minimum. Furthermore, steel pinpoint feet that use an original TEAC design with a new structure to provide a suitable amount of play in the connection between them and the bottom panel, are employed to thoroughly control vibrations that could affect audio quality.Control connectors enable coordinated use with other devicesRS-232C is present for integration with popular control systems, and trigger input and output connectors enable power coordination with other devices.TEAC HR Audio Player provided freeHigh-resolution audio sources, up to 22.5MHz DSD or 384kHz/32-bit PCM, can be easily played from Windows and Macintosh computers using this free dedicated software. Digital audio data can be transmitted with certainty under the best conditions by simply starting the software and selecting the VRDS-701 that is connected using a USB cable. Since the software is designed for use with this product, making USB audio settings is trouble-free.

We have pursued higher audio quality by, for example, using larger components that did not fit in more limited space.MQA CDs can be played back using the built-in MQA core decoderThe VRDS-701T has a built-in MQA core decoder and can digitally output MQA CDs at 88.2 kHz . Moreover, when used together with a DAC that has an MQA rendering function, playback using MQA full decoding is also possible.10MHz external clock inputThe 10MHz clock input allows synchronization with an external clock. In addition to improving audio quality during playback with the VRDS-701T, this also enables synchronization of the entire system with a clock generator.Power supply enhanced using 2 high-capacity toroidal core transformersIndependent high-capacity toroidal core transformers are dedicated to the digital control section and the CD mechanism. These 2 high-capacity toroidal core transformers enable current to be supplied with greater stability.Thorough design for vibration controlPower transformers, which tend to generate vibration, are mounted on a floating structure, separating and isolating them from the bottom panel. The side fins for heat dissipation have been tailored so that each one has a different length in order to eliminate sympathetic vibrations.Three supporting pinpoint feet made of machined steel with a unique structureThe circuit board attachment screws have been kept to a minimum. Furthermore, steel pinpoint feet that use an original TEAC design with a new structure to provide a suitable amount of play in the connection between them and the bottom panel, are employed to thoroughly control vibrations that could affect audio quality.Control connectors enable coordinated use with other devicesRS-232C is present for integration with popular control systems, and trigger input and output connectors enable power coordination with other devices.Included accessoriesAC cordRemote control (RC-1338)AAA batteries ? 2Foot pads ? 3Owner's manual

An ultra-compact stereo power amplifier, powered by Hypex Ncore technology, designed to enable Bi-amping, or use in BTL (Bridge Tied Load/Bridged) mode .The AP-505 is a versatile stereo power amplifier based around a high-performance, TEAC-tuned, Hypex Ncore power amplifier module, housed within a compact and elegant case.Capable of operating in bi-amp and BTL (Bridge Tied Load/Bridged) modes, in addition to conventional stereo operation, the AP-505 produces a maximum 130W + 130W of output power in stereo/bi-amp modes and 250W in BTL/bridged mode. At its heart is an Ncore power amplifier module, made by Hypex of the Netherlands and specially tuned by TEAC’s R&D team, for superlative sound qualityAs for the exterior, lightweight aluminum-alloy panels cover a robust steel chassis. A pair of large level meters add visual interest when the amplifier is in action, while TEAC's patent-pending ‘Pin-point’ feet, located at three strategic positions on the underside, add incision to the sound, helping to create a more detailed and stable stereo image.Features at a glanceHypex Ncore power amplifier module, tuned by TEAC130W + 130W of max output power, or 250W in BTL/bridged modeCan operate in Stereo, Bi-Amp and BTL/bridged modesFully balanced circuit designCarefully selected high-quality components, exclusively designed for Hi-Fi applicationsLarge toroidal power transformer and Schottky barrier diodesComprehensive protection circuits (Surge, Over-voltage, Thermal)Patent-pending ‘Pin-point’ feet for easy installation (Japan Patent No.4075477, No.3778108)Large level metersPassive-cooling for silent operationA4-sized footprint and full-metal body for rigidity, stability and eleganceXLR Balanced and RCA Unbalanced analog audio inputs (one set of each)Wide-pitch, screw-type speaker terminalsAuto power-savingRoHS compliantLatest Hypex Ncore amplifier technology, tuned by TEACThe AP-505 employs a high-performance, energy-efficient Hypex Ncore power amplifier module which produces 130W + 130W in stereo/bi-amp modes or 250W in BTL mode. The module, which has undergone extensive listening tests before being carefully tuned and tweaked by our engineers, easily drives a wide range of speakers, delivering anything from a pianissimo to a fortissimo, and everything in between. In other words, it properly reproduces the dynamics of real music.Supporting Stereo, Bi-amp, and BTL modesNot only for conventional stereo mode with 130W + 130W of output power, this compact unit also provides versatile speaker drive modes, Bi-amp, and BTL modes by deploying a couple of AP-505 units side by side. The Bi-amp mode drives the woofer and tweeter independently, while the BTL mode produces 250W of output power in one channel.Full-metal, small-footprint body for rigidity, stability, and eleganceEvery external panel – at the front, top, and sides - is formed from high-grade aluminum alloy, firmly attached to the robust steel inner chassis. This method of construction helps reduce the transmission of mechanical vibration, ensuring that every single element inside the unit is allowed to perform at its best. Thanks to its convenient A4-sized footprint, the AP-505 easily slots into modern interiors where space efficiency is important, such as on a desktop. This is in stark contrast to most conventional bi-amp/BTL-capable power amplifiers which are usually bulky, full-width units.Fully-balanced designBy employing a fully-balanced circuit design from the input section to the output stage, the AP-505 keeps the audio signal as unadulterated as possible as it moves through the amplifier, the result being extremely low distortion levels and an excellent signal-to-noise ratio (assisted by the effective elimination of common-mode noise).Carefully selected components, exclusively designed for hi-fi applicationsAt the input stage, where sound quality is fundamentally defined, high-quality MUSES8820E dual op-amps are employed for both the XLR and RCA inputs. In the power supply section for the input stage, both the left and right channel rectifying circuits are completely independent of the power transformer onwards, and employ four, high-capacity, 4700μF capacitors on each channel (8 in total), achieving clear soundstage separation between channels. At the XLR input section, a well-designed circuit delivers excellent signal integrity, thanks in part to the elimination of coupling capacitors that can often lose audio information as a signal travels through them.An oversized toroidal power transformerIn the power supply, the AP-505 employs a high-capacity toroidal-core transformer, with Schottky barrier diodes in the rectifying circuit. Unlike conventional diodes, Schottky barrier diodes reduce rectifier noise, leading to a ‘cleaner’ supply and a more stable delivery of current.‘Pin-Point’ feet for easy installationThe AP-505 employs TEAC's patent-pending ‘Pin-Point’ feet. These comprise two separated metal sections in an integrated housing. One has a spiked top and is attached to the bottom of the chassis, the other is a basin-shaped base that hangs down from the spiked section, with a flange-shaped cup to simplify installation. As a result of the unique design, the ‘Pin-Point’ feet considerably minimize vibrations and resonance, by virtue of the fact that the unit is supported on just three points, with a very small surface contact area. This arrangement reduces mid and low-frequency muddiness so improving the soundstage and enhancing fine sonic detail.* Japan Patent numbers 4075477 and 3778108Passive-cooling design for silent operationIt makes no sense to design an amplifier that delivers excellent sound to a pair of speakers but which itself generates distracting operating noise from a cooling fan. From the outset, our engineers were determined to use a circuit and layout that would allow sufficient natural cooling, one that would allow the creation of a compact but powerful amplifier that didn’t need the help of a cooling fan.Dual analog level meters signal musical momentumAnalog level meters on the front panel move in response to signal levels, giving a visually pleasing confirmation that the amplifier is doing its job. A four-step dimmer (bright, mid, dim off) allows users to adjust the intensity of the display to their taste, while a switchable sensitivity (±0dB, +20dB, movement off) allows you to enjoy more, less, or even no meter movement if preferred.Naturally, even if the backlight is off and meter movement has been disabled, you are still able to tell the unit is on... by checking the position of the power switch!

As the temperature of the oven that contains the crystal oscillator reaches to the ideal temperature for accurate clock generation, power consumption of the oven decreases and the gauge points to zero, signaling to the user that the digital processing on the connected device is now controlled by an extremely accurate 10MHz clock signal. The gauge is a backlit-type with a dimmer control (including the ability to completely switch the backlight off).* The oscillator is usually stable about 2 minutes after the power is turned on. However, at least 10 minutes are necessary for the clock to reach an ideal condition.Toroidal-core power transformerA high-capacity, toroidal-core power transformer constantly supplies a constant, stable current that contributes greatly to the efficacy of the crucial clock generation and its subsequent high-precision output.Three-position, patented ‘Pin-Point’ feet for perfect stabilityThe CG-10M-A employs TEAC's patented ‘Pin-Point’ feet. These ingeniously comprises two separated metal sections in a in an integrated housing. One is has a spiked top and is attached to the bottom of the chassis, the other is a basin-shaped base that hangs down from the spiked section with a flange-shaped cup to simply installation.Three ‘Pin-Point’ foot are used for support, two at the front and one at the rear, for excellent stability, even on an uneven floor. As a result, the three ‘Pin-Point’ feet help improve the accuracy of clock oscillation by minimising vibrations and resonance. This, in turn, reduces mid and low frequency muddiness, improves the soundstage and enhances fine sound detail.* Japan patent No. 4075477 and No. 3778108A robust full-metal chassis, combined with an A4-size footprintDesigned to match the successful Reference 500 series, the CG-10M-A features aluminum panels and a robust metal chassis (that also isolates it from electromagnetic noise).with a compact A4-size footprint that will fit anywhere.

The ESS Technology ES9038Q2M SABRE32 Reference DAC we use has a strong reputation in the high-end audio market. Using 32-bit HyperStream® II DAC architecture and Time Domain Jitter Eliminator (both of which are ESS original technologies), an outstanding dynamic range is realized, and linearity is increased in the D/A conversion. As a result, clear and accurate audio playback with superior dynamic characteristics has been made possible.Dual monaural circuit design and fully-balanced designA dual monaural circuit configuration is used throughout, from the power supply (including power transformers), to the D/A converters in the digital section and the Analog output stage. From the high-performance D/A converters to the massive toroidal-core power transformers, each element is configured for single channel processing. This prevents mutual interference effects while reproducing a rich acoustic expressiveness. In addition, the Analog audio signals of both the left and right channels are processed in full balanced mode soon after the D/A converters all the way to the output terminal, contributing to an improved S/N ratio and extended dynamic range. This allows the fantastic sense of air that Hi-Res formats possess to be processed and conveyed without any losses.Support for popular and convenient network functions, including OpenHome and Roon ReadyCommon control apps that support OpenHome can be used with the NT-505-X, which also supports this platform. Moreover, playlists on the NT-505-X can be managed using TEAC HR Streamer and other control apps that support OpenHome. Gapless playback is also supported. With support for Roon Ready, functions provided by RAAT (Roon Advanced Audio Transport), including high-quality audio playback, easy and convenient operation using apps, and multi-room synchronized playback, can be used without limits.* Support for Roon Ready will be added in a firmware update made available after product release.Supports Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Qobuz, and TuneInBy connecting the unit to a home network using a LAN cable, music files saved on NAS music servers and computers can be accessed and played back. In addition, this unit also supports the Spotify, TIDAL, and Qobuz subscription Internet music streaming services. These enable listening to tens of millions of lossless CD-quality (44.1kHz/16bit) music tracks.MQA decoder for master quality streamingIn order to achieve an Analog waveform closer to the original signal, the NT-505-X supports MQA decoding while also supporting high sampling rate Hi-Res formats like DSD512 (22.5MHz) and PCM 32bit/768kHz. The MQA decoder is a totally new technology that controls Analog waveforms with excellent precision (as fine as 5 microseconds) and it reproduces sound in a manner that is perceived to be as close as possible to the original (to human hearing).Furthermore, a high-efficiency compression algorithm makes huge Hi-Res audio files compact in size, so you will be able to enjoy Hi-Res audio sources regardless of the speed of your Internet connectionHigh-quality wireless audio streaming via Bluetooth®In addition to conventional SBC and AAC codecs, the NT-505-X also supports LDAC™ (24bit/96kHz Hi-Res audio transmission), and Qualcomm® aptX™ HD, a codec that uses 24bit/48kHz format transmission. These allow you to playback playlists on your smartphone and tablet wirelesslyHi-Res audio playback from USB flash driveThe USB port on the front panel allows you to playback Hi-Res audio formats including DSD128 (5.6MHz) and PCM 24bit/192kHz downloaded from Internet or digitally recorded with the SD-500HR.Dual onboard clocks for 44.1k and 48kHz, and an external clock inputInstead of referencing to an unstable and noisy PC clock during USB audio playback, a more accurate and on-board clock is generated by a high-precision, low phase-noise, audio-grade crystal oscillator for USB asynchronous transfer mode. The NT-505-X accommodates two on-board clocks exclusively for 44.1kHz and 48kHz sampling frequencies and applies the appropriate one to incoming digital signals - those that are multiples of 44.1k or 48k - to reproduce identical sound to the original by eliminating jitter effects on the audio signal. In addition, an external 10MHz clock input is also provided, to synchronize with an even higher-precision master clock generator, such as the TEAC CG-10M/CG-10M-A, for yet further upgraded audio playback with excellent sound quality.Up-conversion up to 384kHz/32bit PCM and 24.5MHz DSDEmploying RDOT-NEO (Refined Digital Output Technology NEO), a fluency algorithm that renders digital audio signals smoothly, the NT-505-X up-converts PCM digital signals up to 384kHz/32bit PCM and 24.5MHz DSD. With the up-conversion function activated, you will hear an improvement in quality, even with music that you are familiar with."Bulk Pet" USB transfer technology for enhanced audio qualityWhen transferring large volumes of digital data for Hi-Res audio sources through USB cables using conventional isochronous transfer mode, large variations can occur in the processing loads of the sending computer and the receiving USB DAC.This can cause sound to drop out and other problems to occur. However, with our new USB transmission technology - dubbed "Bulk Pet" - a fixed amount of data is transmitted constantly, levelling out the processing burden on both devices and contributing to stable data transmission.Changing the processing burden on the computer directly affects audio quality so users can select the setting they prefer (from four transmission modes).?"Bulk Pet" is a registered trademark of Interface Corporation. For more information about "Bulk Pet", please visit the Interface Corporation website.7 types of PCM digital filtersThere are seven types of PCM digital filters, allowing you to apply the filter that best matches the file format or type of music you're listening to. The filter can be changed at the touch of a button on the remote control, allowing you to enjoy the different sonic nuances of each filter.Dual high-capacity toroidal-core power transformersThe dual monaural theme continues. Two over-sized high-capacity toroidal-core power transformers are employed in the NT-505-X, supplying stable, individual current sources for each of the left and right channels. This means neither channel will be affected by changes in the power consumption of the other during digital processing.NT-505-XAnalog output circuits have been further refineImproved TEAC-HCLD2 enhanced-current output buffer amp circuitWe employed the TEAC-HCLD 2 for the analog output circuit. This is a further improved version of the TEAC-HCLD circuit enhanced-current output buffer amp that increases crucial current output capacity (HCLD: High Current Line Driver). This model now uses line buffer ICs with extremely high current output capacity. By using a positive-negative two-circuit structure for each channel, drive can be differential with balanced output and parallel with unbalanced output. Transmitting audio signals without degrading their dynamism becomes possible with increased current supply capacity.TEAC-QVCS four-circuit-structure high-precision volume control newly incorporated for preamp circuitsTEAC-QVCS (Quad Volume Control System) is used for the volume circuit. This electronic volume control is a variable gain amp type comprised of four discrete circuits for left, right, positive and negative (L+, L?, R+, R?). By placing the variable gain amp volume control, which processes in analog, in the audio signal path on the circuit board, issues with noise resulting from diverging wiring are avoided.Furthermore, this TEAC-QVCS enables volume adjustment in 0.5dB increments, allowing you to set the perfect volume for your audio system or headphones.Carefully crafted line amp section can also be used as a headphone amplifierThe improved TEAC-HCLD2 circuit also has high drive capability as a headphone amp enabling it to maximize the potential of a variety of types of headphones, starting with 600Ω high-impedance models. In addition, the NT-505-X supports the Ground Separate connection by separating circuit ground on both Left and Right channels from the amplifier section to the headphone jack, to improve channel separation that is crucial for headphone listening, while delivering clear sound with wide visible sound stage.NT-505-XPhysical design with extreme attention to detailAll-metal enclosure provides both vibration resistance and a stylish appearance in an A4 footprint that can fit on a deskSince the entire body is constructed from metal panels that are resistant to external noise, intrusion of electromagnetic noise generated by computers and other devices is suppressed. A clean internal environment with little noise has been realized even in conditions that are difficult for audio equipment. Furthermore, 8mm-thick aluminum panels covering both sides of the all-metal chassis provide a strong and stable structure that prevents twisting and bending. Moreover, being the size of an A4 page* (viewed from above), the unit can be placed on a desk, side table or other small space.*This excludes the connectors, knobs and other protrusions.Symmetrically laid out XLR and RCA output jacksThe NT-505-X is equipped with both balanced and unbalanced Analog audio outputs. A pair of XLR connectors and another pair of RCA connectors - each gold-plated - are symmetrically laid out, hinting at the dual monaural arrangement inside, and allowing a wide range of possible audio configurations. A wide-spaced pitch layout for the RCA outputs accommodates professional grade plugs with large-diameter shells. The NT-505-X has a total of 5 digital inputs: USB audio, coaxial, optical on the rear panel, and a combination jack on the front panel (for coaxial and optical, supporting PCM 24bit/192kHz and DSD64 (2.8MHz) in DoP format).Newly-developed Stressless Foot designOur newly-developed original Stressless Foot design with three support points enables stable placement of the unit so that it is not impacted by slight irregularities in the surface beneath it. Compared to the original feet used in previous designs, these feet are only partially fixed to the chassis. This design was developed based on the concept that by allowing the feet to vibrate freely, more natural sound reverberations could be achieved. The tops of the conical feet, which are made of machined steel, are attached so that they hang from the bottom of the chassis and swing freely when the unit is lifted. While maintaining a sense of placement like that of the pin-point spiked feet used by previous models, this design enables more natural rich reverberations.Semi-floating design Top PanelA semi-floating structure is newly used for the top panel. It has achieved a sound with an excellent sense of openness.Free TEAC HR Audio Player software for DSD512 playback on both Windows and MacThe next-generation Hi-Res formats, DSD512 (22.5MHz) and PCM 768kHz/32bit are supported via the TEAC HR Audio Player software for Windows and Mac. This software guarantees the best available playback quality with any combination of audio format and computer configuration via a single USB cable. All the user has to do is choose the NT-505-X from the pull-down menu showing target output devices. The TEAC HR Audio Player is downloadable from TEAC's web site, and is completely free to use.Free TEAC HR Streamer app for iOS/Android devicesSupporting Hi-Res audio formats up to 5.6MHz DSD and 192kHz PCM, this free app for iOS and Android devices allows you to control wireless streaming music playback from a device, NAS, computers and the Internet, along with rich graphic information such as album artwork.* Wi-Fi network is required to use the App

Two over-sized high-capacity toroidal-core power transformers are employed in the UD-505-X, supplying stable, individual current sources for each of the left and right channels. This means neither channel will be affected by changes in the power consumption of the other during digital processing.Analog output circuits have been further refinedImproved TEAC-HCLD2 enhanced-current output buffer amp circuitWe employed the TEAC-HCLD 2 for the analog output circuit. This is a further improved version of the TEAC-HCLD circuit enhanced-current output buffer amp that increases crucial current output capacity (HCLD: High Current Line Driver). This model now uses line buffer ICs with extremely high current output capacity.TEAC-QVCS four-circuit-structure high-precision volume control newly incorporated for preamp circuitsTEAC-QVCS (Quad Volume Control System) is used for the volume circuit. With challenging 600Ω high-impedance headphones for example, the UD-505-X allows you to bring out the potential of these type of headphones.Active-ground drive offers a new headphone drive modeThe active-ground is a new driving mode that employs the principles of balanced connection. It forcefully drives the ground, by lowering the ground level to 0V, providing an ideal ground condition (rather than just connecting to the conventional ground). This means it also suppresses hum noise from the power supply and enhances the purity of silent pauses by lowering the noise floor. Subtle detail, such as the breathing of artists and the textures of sounds, will feel even more convincing.Symmetrically laid out XLR and RCA output jacksThe UD-505-X is equipped with both balanced and unbalanced Analog audio outputs. This long-awaited CD transport in the Reference 500 Series employs a CD drive with a new design based on specifications we have used for professional products.Dedicated CD drive design improves on the drive developed for the TEAC CD-5020AThe CD-5020A is a TEAC original drive that we are proud to have developed. This his has been used for professional applications because of its durability and reliability. Based on the CD drive design used in the CD-5020A, we developed a new design optimized for the PD-505T.Semi-floating mountingThe entire CD mechanism is mounted in a semi-floating state that is not completely fixed to the chassis of the unit. This design, developed with meticulous care, prevents feedback that can have a negative impact on CD reading by preventing the transmission of vibrations generated by the spindle motor and actuator to the chassis and causing sympathetic vibrations. At the same time, in order to eliminate impact on the audio quality from dampers used when mounting drive components, we also designed locations where we employed rigid attachment methods, for example, and considered overall vibration modes in making a structure that employs both rigid and flexible aspects. By doing so, we have realized CD reading that is more accurate and maintains a higher level of purity. Drive control circuit with a new designSeeking an even higher level, we designed a new drive control circuit for the CD mechanism. By controlling the spindle motor with gentle feedback to create a natural rotating state, we have realized an even more unaffected and open sound. Furthermore, BTL drive, which does not generate switching noise, is utilized, starting with the spindle and also including the actuator that drives the pickup lens. This eliminates minute impacts on signal reading and increases the purity of the signal.Discrete power circuits use toroidal core transformersToroidal core transformers are used for the power supplies. Furthermore, power supplies are separated for the OLED display, the CD drive and microcomputer circuit, and the audio circuit, with dedicated secondary coils and rectifiers for each. In consideration of the audio quality, independent discrete power circuits are used for the CD drive, the microcomputer and the audio circuit.Crystal-oscillator-based internal clock with low-phase noise usedWith digital connections, the clock precision of upstream devices can affect the quality of the entire system. A low-phase-noise crystal oscillator, which has outstanding phase noise characteristics, is used for the internal clock of the PD-505T. By reading CD signals based on a high-precision standard clock, the original sound stored on the CD can be accurately output digitally.10MHz external clock inputThe sound can be enhanced further by inputting an even higher precision clock signal from an external source. Moreover, in a digital playback system, not only can audio quality be enhanced by increased upstream precision, building an even higher level digital system becomes possible through, for example, clock synchronization with a DAC.Hardware DesignAll-metal enclosure provides both vibration resistance and a stylish appearance in an A4 footprint that can fit on a desk Since the entire body is constructed from metal panels that are resistant to external noise, intrusion of electromagnetic noise generated by computers and other devices is suppressed. This combined cassette deck and CD player, which can also record to USB flash drives, includes a microphone jack with an echo function that can be used for karaokeUSB flash drive recording and playback supportedIn addition to recording from CDs, cassette tapes and external input devices to USB flash drives (as MP3 files), CDs, MP3 files on USB flash drives and external input devices can also be recorded to cassette tapes. Recorded files will be saved to automatically generated folders according to the source (CD, LINE or TAPE) on USB flash drives, enabling easy digital to analog conversion without a computer.Microphone input built inA mic input jack is built into the front of the unit. You can record a mic connected to this unit by itself, of course. You can also mix in the mic signal when playing back and recording CDs, cassettes and USB flash drives.* The mic sound cannot be recorded when recording from a CD to a USB flash drive.Echo effectEcho can be added to the sound from the mic connected to this unit. The front panel switch can be used to set the effect to two levels or turn it off. With the AD-850-SE and a mic, you can easily enjoy karaoke.* You will also need a separate amplifier and speakers for karaoke.Echo explanationThis adds reverberations to the original sound. The original sound is repeated with various amounts of delay and damping over time to produce an almost natural reverberation sound, similar to that heard in a hall or studio.Cassette deck has all the key functionalityThe cassette deck uses a two-head one-way design for recording and playback. It supports cassette tape that use normal, chrome and metal (playback only) formulations/positions. This model provides all key functionality, including pitch control with a +/-10% adjustment range and timer recording and playback.CD player supports CD-R/RW discs and MP3 file playbackIn addition to audio CDs, the CD player can play CD-R/RW discs containing MP3 files. During MP3 playback, information including ID3 tags and file names* is shown. Various playback modes include program, shuffle and repeat (one track, all tracks or program).* File name display supports half-width English letters and numbers (single-byte characters). Names that use full-width characters (double-byte characters), including Japanese, cannot be shown correctly.Extensive USB flash drive recording and playback functionsThe repeat playback function can be used together with various other playback modes, including continuous, shuffle and program. The synchronised start function, which automatically starts playback of the sound source (CD or TAPE), makes recording to USB flash drives much more straightforward.Convenient timer functionA timer can be used to start cassette recording and playback as well as CD and USB flash drive playback.* A commercially-available timer must be purchased separately.

The W-1200 is a double cassette deck featuring two, one-way cassette decks, mic mixing, a USB digital output and other versatile recording features. In recent times, cassette tapes have fascinated those whom have never used them, thanks to their warm, distinctly analogue sound, not to mention the ease of recording and the ability to create ‘mix-tapes’.Dual cassette decks for REC/PLAY with independent mechanismsTwo simple and reliable one-way cassette mechanisms are employed. During playback (or recording) of TAPE1, users are able to change the cassette tape in TAPE2, preparing it to play (or record) next. Since both of the decks have independent drive sections for control, when one deck is playing (or recording) users are able to operate the other deck (changing tapes, fast forwarding or rewinding,) without affecting the operation of the first deck, ensuring continuity of playback or recording. Both decks support the playback of Normal (Type I), Chrome (Type II), and Metal (Type IV) tapes, while supporting recording on Normal and Chrome-type tapes.Noise reduction system for playback of Dolby B tapesThe built-in noise reduction system suppresses the hiss noise that inherent in cassette tape playback. This allows cassette tapes that were recorded using Dolby B NR in the past to be played back with sound quality that is close to the original.Pitch control and RTZ functionsTAPE1 is equipped with a pitch control that changes playback speed (in order to restore the playback sound on old tapes to the original key) by allowing the adjustment of tape speed by ±12%. Moreover, by combining the Pitch control and A-B Repeat play, users are able to make voices easier to understand at reduced tape speeds when transcribing recorded meetings and speeches. Furthermore, both TAPE1 and TAPE2 are equipped with Return-to-Zero (RTZ) functions that make returning to them to their "0000" counter positions easy with the press of a single button.Parallel Recording for making identical tapes simultaneouslyParallel Recording makes a pair of identical tapes at the same time on TAPE1 and TAPE2. It is a convenient way to provide someone a copy of a tape right after making a recordingDual mode REC MUTEThe dual mode REC MUTE function allows users to erase unnecessary sections and to add spaces (silences) between tracks while recording. During recording or rec-standby, the W-1200 creates a 4- second ‘blank’ (which is a standard gap) between tracks simply by pressing the REC MUTE button once – press and hold it for more than 4 seconds and you can create a blank as long as you need.Mic input and mic mixing for Karaoke and announcement applicationsThe mic input and mixing function allow users to mix mic sound and tape/aux sound, and to record mixed sound to a cassette tape. By adjusting the mic level, users are able to enjoy Karaoke performance, (useful for announcement-type applications) without an external mixer. Of course, recording the mic sound alone to a cassette tape is also supported. Combine that with the Parallel Recording facility and users can create a pair of identical tapes simultaneously, useful for making conference minutes, for example, one being the ‘master’ and another for distribution.One-touch tape dubbingWith just the press of a button, users are able to duplicate cassette tapes, making a backup copy of the original tape. Users are also able to create silences between tracks by pressing the REC MUTE button during dubbing. This also serves as a simple editing system, by allowing the erasing of unwanted sections.Fluorescent display with level metersA fluorescent display with high contrast and high brightness is employed to show - in one place - all the information needed to operate the decks, including Left and Right level meters for full-fledged recording plus independent tape counters tor TAPE1 and TAPE2. The dimmer function allows users to adjust the brightness according to the environment.USB digital out for digital recording on PC/MacThe built-in A/D converter and a USB digital output on the rear panel allows users to digitally archive their cassette tape libraries, at 48kHz/16-bit CD-quality. The sampling frequency and bit depth are selectable from 8k to 48kHz and 8 or 16 bit, depending on recording quality of the original tape. Once a digital archive is created, users are able to listen to them anytime anywhere with a computer, DAP, smartph

The S-shaped tone-arm also employs a universal head-shell fitting, allowing users to quickly and easily swap cartridges/head-shells, and supports a wide range of cartridge weights (from 14 - 23g / 0.5 - 0.8 oz.)?Precision anti-skating and stylus-pressure adjustmentThe static-balanced, S-shape tone-arm is equipped with a counterweight for precise stylus-pressure adjustment, as well as an anti-skating mechanism for accurate tracking force adjustment, allowing the cartridge to accurately play any quality vinyl disc.Pre-installed VM-series cartridgeA VM-type cartridge the AT-VM95E manufactured by audio-technica exclusive for TEAC with an elliptical-shaped stylus tip comes pre-installed on the head-shell for convenience. After you’ve opened the box, set up the platter and mounted the head-shell on the tonearm, you'll be ready to enjoy your records.* Replacement styli should be available at the retail store where you purchased the unit, or via the TEAC On-line store. (TEAC On-line store is available in selected countries.)* The VM-series cartridge is a MM (Moving Magnet) type design, and is compatible with all conventional MM-type phono EQ amplifiers.Built-in MM-type phono EQ amplifierThe TN-3B-SE incorporates an MM-type phono EQ amplifier, allowing you to connect the turntable to a conventional amplifier/hi-fi system that lacks a PHONO input. A low distortion, hi-fi-grade op-amp, the NJM8080, is employed to boost the low-level signals from the phono cartridge up to LINE level.External belt-drive with aluminum die-cast platterA belt-drive arrangement is employed in order to minimise any motor cogging effects by driving the outer rim of the platter (which has a larger diameter, mass and surface area).Luxurious, multi-layer lacquer paint finishAll internal components are mounted on a robust and high-density MDF plinth for rigidity and vibration-deadening. Thanks to its sleek and stylish design, the TN-3B looks at home in most domestic environments, creating the perfect setting for listening to vinyl records.33-? and 45 rpm 2-speed turntableThe TN-3B-SE supports both 33-? and 45 rpm for LP and EP records. Our insistence on quality engineering can even be seen in the construction of the rotary control for start-up/speed selection, formed of machined aluminium.Insulating feet with excellent shock absorptionThe insulating feet comprise a machined aluminium shell, topped with a rubber cushion that is fixed to the high-density MDF plinth. Thanks to their excellent shock absorption characteristics, the TN-3B-SE is very resistant to acoustic feedback.Honeycomb patterned bottom panelIn order to achieve sleek cabinet design without compromising rigidity, the bottom panel is imprinted with a honeycomb pattern that minimises unwanted vibrations.
