Fiio K9 AKM

The Fiio K9 AKM headphone amplifier is a versatile model integrating analog and digital inputs and can be used in USB DAC mode. This Fiio headphone amplifier integrates the latest generation of AKM DAC to ensure the playback of music up to a very high resolution of 32 bits / 768 kHz and decode DSD512 files. Its THX amplification can provide up to 2000 mW under 32 ohms to efficiently power any headset or earphones thanks to the balanced and unbalanced outputs.

Highly versatile, the Fiio K9 AKM headphone amp is equipped with analog and digital inputs to easily connect all your sources. An asynchronous USB-B and USB-C port is also available to play music from a Windows or Mac computer. These are associated with a high-precision XMOS U30870C10 controller to ensure optimal playback of all your files. Conversion is entrusted to an AK4499EX DAC associated with its own AKM AK4191EQ delta-sigma modulator to fully separate the digital and analog sections. A dual clock of 49 and 45 MHz ensures the correct addressing of the data to ensure optimal conversion of Hi-Res music up to 32 bits / 768 kHz and DSD512.

THX AAA amplification

At the DAC output, the Fiio K9 AKM headphone amplifier uses two THX AAA 788+ modules. These offer high amplification power and sound close to the best class A amplifiers, without consuming more energy than conventional class D amplifiers. The THX AAA technology of these amplifier modules also ensures surgically precise reproduction and a non-existent noise level. It displays an extremely low distortion rate of 0.00027% and an extended frequency response ranging from 20 Hz to 50 kHz. Essential features to take full advantage of all the details offered by HD recordings. The Fiio K9 AKM amplifier is therefore naturally Hi-Res Audio certified.
