WiiM CI MOD A80

The WiiM CI MOD A80 connected amplifier is a model that is equally suited to home and professional use thanks to the possibility of rack mounting. Very complete, it integrates a 32-bit ESS Sabre 9018K2M DAC for playing music shared on the local network or stored on a USB drive. Its integrated network player allows you to access streaming services, web radios and receive music via Chromecast, AirPlay 2 or Bluetooth. The very comprehensive connectivity offers analog and digital inputs (including an HDMI ARC) to centralize all audio sources. With its power of 60 W under 8 ohms or 120 W under 4 ohms, this amplifier is ideal for powering a pair of bookshelf speakers or small columns.

Tailored for integration 

The WiiM CI MOD A80 stereo amplifier is designed for the needs of custom installation (CI) integrators. It ideally combines musical performance and flexibility in a rack-mountable format, in addition to the possibility of easily integrating it into a piece of furniture or the smallest space in the house thanks to its compactness. Amplification is provided by a Texas Instruments TI TPA3255 module operating in class D to offer up to 60 watts per channel under 8 ohms and 120 watts per channel under 4 ohms. The WiiM CI MOD A80 amplifier is therefore ideal for efficiently powering a pair of bookshelf speakers, small columns or built-in speakers. In addition, its class D operation ensures excellent efficiency and limits heat generation, thus facilitating the installation of this connected amplifier.

Multiroom

The WiiM CI MOD A80 connected amplifier can be used alone or integrated into a multiroom group to enjoy music throughout the house. To do this, it allows you to broadcast music throughout your home in 3 different operating modes. In the case of use with Apple equipment, you can use Airplay 2 to set up your multiroom system. If you use Amazon speakers, you can use AVS Multiroom technology. The WiiM CI MOD A80 amplifier can also be associated with any other multiroom-compatible LinkPlay equipment. You can then broadcast different music in each room or the same song throughout the house. To adjust to all your needs, you can very easily adjust the volume independently for each zone. Music Services 

Once connected to the Internet via home WiFi or Ethernet, the WiiM CI MOD A80 amp offers access to countless streaming services such as Spotify, Deezer, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Tidal, Napster, Apple Music and Tidal. This WiiM Amp connected amp also allows you to enjoy web radios thanks to its compatibility with iHeartRadio and TuneIn. 

AirPlay 2, Chromecast and Bluetooth 

In addition to streaming services, the WiiM CI MOD A80 amplifier can receive music from an iPhone, iPad, iPod or Mac thanks to the support of the AirPlay 2 protocol. This allows the streaming of music from any application such as YouTube, for example. For an Android device, streaming is made easier thanks to the integrated Chromecast. Practical, the WiiM CI MOD A80 amplifier also integrates a Bluetooth 5.3 receiver for any smartphone, tablet or computer not compatible with AirPlay 2. Practical, the Bluetooth module of the WiiM CI MOD A80 is bi-directional, allowing it to also act as a transmitter to enjoy music with a Bluetooth headset or wireless speakers. 

Complete connectivity 

The WiiM CI MOD A80 connected amplifier also benefits from a complete connectivity to meet the needs of individuals and professionals alike. Thanks to the RCA and optical input, it is possible to connect a CD player, a pre-amplified turntable or a computer, for example. The HDMI ARC port facilitates the connection of a television by allowing you to directly retrieve the soundtrack of the program being viewed. The USB-A port allows you to read music files stored on a USB stick or an external hard drive. This USB port can also be used as an output for connecting an external DAC. 

Thanks to its analog and digital inputs, the WiiM CI MOD A80 amplifier can be easily combined with many sources such as a CD player, a pre-amplified turntable or a television, for example. 

Apps and voice assistants 

Very easy to use, the WiiM CI MOD A80 amplifier is mainly controlled from the Wiim Home application. The latter allows you to manage multiroom groups, control music and access various online music services, web radios and titles shared in DLNA. This application also allows you to customize the sound reproduction thanks to the 24 predefined equalization parameters, a 10-band graphic equalizer and a 10-band parametric equalizer for precise sound adjustments.

Thanks to its compatibility with Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri voice assistants, it is also possible to control music vocally by pairing the WiiM CI MOD A80 amplifier with a speaker equipped with one of these assistants. For completely autonomous use, the WiiM CI MOD A80 amplifier comes with the WiiM Remote remote control with its own microphone to directly activate the voice assistants of your choice.
