Reading precision is also increased by isolating the CD mechanism from external vibrations.TEAC ΔΣ (delta-sigma) discrete DACInstead of an ordinary DAC IC, the DAC section, which is critical for determining the sound, is a TEAC ΔΣ (Delta Sigma) discrete DAC that consists of a discrete circuit structure that incorporates our unique algorithms using FPGA. DSD signals are left as is, while PCM signals are converted to 1-bit using a ΔΣ modulator and then output as high-quality analog signals. We designed the DT to be one of the best optical disc players available. Its uncompromising technical approach makes it well suited for partnering with any D/A convertor.It must be strange to offer a standalone CD-transport in a market, where the digital-to-analogue converters advertised as the most important elements of a digital system. However, we think that the best data retrieval and transfer from a source disc is a very complex task and must be made with extra care to achieve a great sound. Like a phono cartridge and its preamp stage, the disc readout and the DAC have two entirely different role, and they must be separated to achieve the best results.
