Our turntables demand conscious music listening. The Debut PRO S takes this philosophy to the extreme. We finished all parts except for the polished spindle in matte black. The manual controls invite the listener to interact with the turntable: turn it on, place the record on the platter, move and lower the tonearm. The musical reward follows the tactile experience. No unnecessary switches, LEDs, or labeling distract from what is essential.A milestone for the next decadesThe Debut PRO S brings an absolutely new design to Pro-Ject turntables. The audiophile turntable is convincing in all respects – not only visually, but more importantly also in terms of sound. The precision CNC milled parts are optically perfectly coordinated and lead the Debut PRO S to its modern simple, elegant and unprecedented design. Change between them easily with the toggle switch. With the supplied round belt for 78 rpm you can also listen to your shellac records.A new platter – a deeper dishThe die-cast aluminium platter is reworked and precision balanced in an extra step to obtain an evenly spinning platter. It is anti-magnetic, allowing also MC cartridges to work properly. The anti-magnetic heavy aluminium platter has a ring made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) on the inside that helps to dampen all resonances and minimizes wow and flutter. The included Record Puck E provides an extra level of damping and stability.Azimuth & VTA AdjustmentThe newly designed tonearm base allows you to adjust both the azimuth and the vertical tracking angle (VTA). The tonearm height can be continuously adjusted by loosening the two grub screws. These settings give you the option of adapting the tonearm to height changes allowing the use of different turntable mats or other cartridges to always achieve the best sound quality. Setting and experimenting with the VTA & Azimuth is crucial in extracting every last bit of performance out of your cartridges.PRO FeaturesPick it S2 C - Unheard precision & dynamicsThe perfect combination of components is the key to achieve the great sound of the Pick it PRO S.Alu Sub-Platter - Sustainable componentsThe diamond cut aluminium sub-platter can be machined to much improved and higher tolerances and will be a substantial upgrade to regular sub-platters.10" S-Shape - New tonearm designThis super stiff and uniquely dampened aluminium tonearm ensures perfect tracking of the record groove.VTA & Azimuth - Fully adjustableThe Debut PRO S comes with fully adjustable Azimuth & VTA. It offers you the possibility to modify your turntable as you want it.33/45/78 RPM - High precision motor controlThe playback speeds are electronically controlled with precision, which guarantees the most accurate and stable music reproduction. Change between speeds easily with the toggle switch.Bearing block - Complete new designThe precision CNC milled tonearm bearing parts are completely new and designed just for the PRO.Special Platter - TPE damped & anti magneticThe heavy aluminium platter has a ring made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) on the inside that helps to dampen all resonances and minimizes wow and flutter.Metal Feet - Damped & height adjustableThe three height adjustable damped aluminium feet guarantee the perfect stand & massively reduce risk of acoustical feedback.

The super stiff, but lightweight tonearm delivers an insane sound quality with a convincing sound stage.Premium Bearing - Smooth movement- The precise CNC milled aluminium bearing offers very low friction and best stability.Quality Motor - Sophisticated suspension- Our high quality AC motor is mounted into a porper suspension system which consistently reduces vibrations.Clean Power - DC/AC power generator- The power generator creates a completely clean new sine wave for the motor. This guarantees very clean power which results in enhanced speed stability.Belt Drive - Precision belt - The belt decouples the motor from the big sub platter. This prevents motor vibrations to travel to the needle.33 / 45 RPM - Electronic speed change - The rocker switch on the bottom of the turntable allows you to change speeds with the push of only a single button. The heavy 1,7 kg die-cast aluminum platter gets reworked and precision balanced in an extra step to obtain a perfect platter. The heavy aluminum platter has a ring made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) on the inside that helps to dampen all resonances and thus minimize wow and flutter. The Debut EVO 2 platter is anti-magnetic, which allows you to use MC cartridges and upgrade to our True Balanced Connection technology. Our separately available Record Puck E provides an extra level of damping and stability, so it is the perfect add-on for your Debut EVO 2.The platter features a notch for the record label and together with our Record Puck E (available separately) the puck’s weight will press your record tightly against the platter.

The XA B balanced acrylic turntable is a gorgeous, high-performance edition to the X Series. It implements a 10″ one-piece aluminum tonearm with a balanced 5-pin DIN output. Also utilizing a balanced balanced MM phono cartridge (the first of its kind!) it brings you one step closer to balanced operation. You need only a DIN > Mini XLR or DIN to XLR cable with which to connect the turntable to any of our Phono Box S3 B, Phono Box DS3 B, Tube Box DS3 B, or Phono Box RS2 balanced phono preamps.A Clearer PictureFor over 30 years we’ve designed & built turntables that focus on sound quality over convenience-oriented features. Along the way we’ve experimented with materials that vary in their resonance properties, and acrylic has remained . Our first ever acrylic turntable (the 6.9Perspective) was a huge success. 6PerspeX variants have been around for 15+ years too, not to mention a host of 2Xperience variants in acrylic. Needless to say, the limited run of our Perspective Final Edition turntable sold out swiftly as well. We take pride in how these turntables take advantage of both the aesthetic & sonic virtues of acrylic in hi-fi, but using acrylic in manufacturing not as easy as you might think. True, it’s anti-resonant, but the rest of the turntable too must lend sonic value to the equation. Measurement & critical listening reveal that acrylic can actually over-damp sonics if it’s not used thoughtfully. XA B uses an aluminum tonearm & platter, the Pick it PRO Balanced cartridge & purpose-selected isolation feet to render music in a lively, dynamic & detail-rich manner… an experience that becomes doubly immersive when you decide to take the plunge into the world of balanced phono.Premium 10″ TonearmThe XA B turntable features a premium 10“ one-piece aluminum armtube. The single-piece tube heightens rigidity while the 10″ length widens the tonearm’s arc, reducing tracing error. The low-friction 4-pinpoint cardanic bearing assembly guarantees precise, stable & accurate tracking. We’ve selected the aluminum armtube over carbon fiber for its sonic merits when paired with the resonant frequency of the acrylic plinth. The tonearm also offers audiophiles full control over their adjustment parameters. One can fine-tune not only tracking force & anti-skate, but also VTA & azimuth if needed. Listeners with cartridge-mounting skills are encouraged to try various cartridges and/or record mats to achieve their desired sonics! Our classic anti-skating system (adaptive anti-skating) changes with the skating force, which varies across a record side as groove conditions change. The TPE-damped counterweight significantly reduces unwanted armtube resonance. We use high-precision stainless steel cardanic tonearm bearings, meaning there’s minimal friction as the tonearm moves and absolutely no ‘play’ (or wiggle) in the bearing structure. This allows the stylus & cartridge to do their jobs unimpeded.True BalancedThe Pro-Ject Pick it PRO Balanced cartridge allows for “True Balanced” signal transmission. A revised version of the Pick it PRO, we re-route the grounding so that it sends a symmetrical signal. The big advantage of a balanced connection is its ability to remove accrued noise and interference from the transmission line (not to mention +6dB gain!). In short, you get more music & less noise – the improvement is not subtle. Our True Balanced cable range offers several options for connecting your XA B to our Phono Box S3 B, Phono Box DS3 B, Tube Box DS3 B or Phono Box RS2 phono stages. Any phono preamp with mini XLR or XLR inputs will do the trick! With XA B’s DIN output, you’d require either an DIN > mini XLR or DIN > XLR cable.High-Quality DIN > RCA CableCables cannot add any information back to a given signal, rather, they’re responsible for allowing as much musical information as possible through to the receiving device. This is why we include our Connect it Phono E 5P > RCA cable. Optimized for phono applications, we’ve implemented quality metals & careful configuration to ensure lossless signal transmission.TPE-Damped Die-Cast PlatterThe 1.7kg (3.75lbs) die-cast aluminum platter is precision-balanced with additional machining after casting. This facilitates perfect platter rotation while playing records. The heavy aluminum platter also adds a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) damping ring & corresponding cutout on the underside, muting any resonance created by the metal record platter and contributing to the flywheel effect.Damped, Height-Adjustable FeetThe XA B stands on three damped & height-adjustable feet for excellent isolation. By using 3 feet we are able to increase stability on uneven surfaces for optimal leveling – a critical setup parameter in terms of maximizing the performance of a tonearm & cartridge.Sophisticated DC/AC GeneratorOur turntables use switch-mode power supplies for good reason. They take the unrefined AC power from your wall and convert it to DC. That DC power is then fed to DC/AC generator within the turntable, which in turn powers the AC motor. The advantage is that a completely new sine wave is created by the generator, fully decoupling your turntable from the dirty AC power coming from your outlet. This amounts to steady power being fed to the motor thereby enhancing speed stability. Two Upgrades in One BoxClean & stable power is critical for phono setups. The included power supply is a great starting point but you can take it a step further. Power Box S3 Phono provides power for the Debut PRO B (15V) as well as your Pro-Ject phono stage (18V). Its two outputs are specifically engineered to power Pro-Ject turntables and phono preamps simultaneously. The sophisticated DC filtration can have a dramatic impact on overall sound quality. In addition to the sonic improvements, Power Box S3 Phono also offers users a cleaner cable solution (only one wall-wart needed for the PSU).

There’s something in the Air.Our super affordable phono stage makes your vinyl sound purer than ever.Enjoy a purer listening experience with the ZEN Air Phono, our super affordable phono stage.A phono stage, also called a phono pre-amp, provides the connection between the record cartridge/pickup (stylus) and the amplifier.Turntable cartridges output a very small signal. This signal needs amplifying up to several hundred times the original size before it is loud enough for your amplifier. A phono stage increases the signal level from millivolts to volts. When vinyl was the standard for audio recording, the phono stage was built-in to receivers and amps, allowing direct connection of a turntable. These days most receivers and amps do not contain a phono stage so a separate unit is needed. It is a necessity for any turntable without a phono stage already built in. It will also upgrade a basic built-in phono stage in a turntable or amplifier system.Purer stillListening to music on vinyl is good for the soul. It sounds purer than listening to a track via your phone or computer.Make this experience purer still by reducing hiss, noise and rumble on your records with the ZEN Air Phono.MC and MMThere are two kinds of turntable cartridge – Moving Magnet and Moving Coil – and the ZEN Air Phono works with both of them. The MM setting is for cartridges with an output voltage of 2mV and higher. The MC setting for outputs less than 2mV.You use the gain switch on the rear to change this setting. It also has a precise RIAA equalisation setting to satisfy the most demanding vinyl lover.Engage warp driveAs we all know, records can become warped with age. With the ZEN Air Phono any warp on your records will be driven away by our ‘subsonic filter’.Normal subsonic filters remove ‘rumble’ AND bass and cause phase issues. Our unique AI phono sub-sonic filter removes ‘rumble’ only.
