Η A6 Ultra συνεχίζει την καινοτομία της σειράς Α, συνδυάζοντας τον καταπληκτικό ακουστικό ήχο με την αίσθηση του ηλεκτρικού μπράτσου ενώ, ο συνολικός σχεδιασμός του σώματος καταργεί την επιστροφή του ήχου, ακόμα και στις πιο δύσκολα ηχητικές συνθήκες.Όλα τα ηχητικά χαρακτηριστικά που ξεχωρίζουν, οφείλονται κατά κύριο λόγο στον μαγνήτη humbucker που βρίσκεται στη βάση του μανικιού της κιθάρας, σε συνδυασμό με μια κάψα η οποία βρίσκεται κάτω από τον καβαλάρη και συνδυάζονται σε 2 εξόδους στον ειδικά σχεδιασμένο προενισχυτή της Α6.
