Focal unveils New Aria Evo X Speakers

French know-how, technological developments, refined design, original features, and more, Aria Evo X continues its legacy with a range of loudspeakers acclaimed for their performance. Perfect for experiencing Focal sound and enjoying your favourite music and films at home.

Since their introduction in 2013, the Aria line of speakers by Focal has been a popular choice for audiophiles and home theater enthusiasts alike. The French manufacturer unveiled the new and revamped Aria Evo X range that includes three floorstanding speakers, a bookshelf speaker, and a center channel.

Visually, the new Aria Evo X maintains the sleek, modern appearance of the previous Aria speaker iterations that consumers have come to love. Featuring a cabinet constructed of MDF, a leather front, non-parallel side panels to reduce vibration, and a magnetic grill, the speakers still use a Flax cone midrange and bass for minimal sound coloration.

The big changes are mostly internal. The new Aria Evo X range now has an M-shaped inverted dome TAM tweeter, which replaces the previous TNF tweeter. In simple terms, Focal improved upon the previous tweeter with this revamped inverted dome cone, made from an aluminum and magnesium alloy, which is then molded into a proprietary M shape. This design gives the dome more rigidity, improves treble accuracy, and minimizes distortion to reproduce better and clearer sound.

Additionally, the midrange drivers feature Focal’s patented technology, called Tuned Mass Damper (TMD). TMD stabilizes the way the surround behaves to minimize deformation of the cone and any negative impact on sound dynamics, for faithful sound reproduction.

The three-way floorstanding speakers have a multi-port system that includes a front port, along with a floor-facing port that lowers dynamic compression while increasing depth and bass impact for exciting listening experiences Furthermore, the floorstanding speakers all sit atop an aluminum-alloy base that decouples the speaker from the floor. The floorstanding speakers come in different sizes to accommodate different room sizes. 

• The larger Aria Evo X N°4 is ideal for rooms measuring from 100m² and from a recommended listening distance of 3 to 5 meters. 
• The mid-sized Aria Evo X N°3 is ideal for rooms measuring from 80m² and from a recommended listening distance of 3 to 4 meters 
• The smaller Aria Evo X N°2 is ideal for rooms measuring from 65m² and from a recommended listening distance of 3 meters.
• Rounding out the range are the two-way Aria Evo X N°1 bookshelf speaker and Aria Evo X two-way center channel.

The colors of the new range include the traditional Prime Walnut, the sleek Black High Gloss, and an all-new Moss Green High Gloss.
