The speaker Aegis NEO Center from the company Acoustic Energy Characterized as center speakers because they are placed in the center of the sound system. In this category, the speakers are also characterized as dialogue speakers and as their name implies, they have a specific use in a sound system. They should be placed on a shelf or special base, which is sold separately, but never on the floor as they will not have the appropriate performance. The power and impedance of them are 150W RMS and 8Ω respectively, which means it can be connected to an amplifier with the corresponding characteristics. This is a speaker 2.5 way, meaning the sound frequencies are reproduced by one tweeter for the high frequencies and two woofers responsible for the mid-range and low frequencies.

The Aelite Series is Acoustic Energy’s affordable high-end range.Following with AE tradition, lightweight high-efficiency alloy cones housed in die-cast aluminium chassis are used for the mid/bass driver units, providing a fast, tight bass response with optimum detail and clarity.The Aelite Centre channel speaker is a high performance 2.5 way design that features separate internal dual chambers for the high power LF and MF drive units. The curved cabinet them is reflected in the top facia of the external design whilst optimum rigidity is retained for the underside to ensure accuracy in dialogue reproduction without resonance or colouration.

The AE307 is a centre channel loudspeaker suitable for home cinema and multi-channel music systems.The AE307 uses the latest generation of our 130mm mid-bass drive unit. Featuring a brand new ceramic aluminium sandwich cone with an ultra-shallow profile and ultra-high force, long throw motor system, this new driver boasts improved dispersion, extended bass slam and overall power handling.

The AE100² is a compact standmount / bookshelf loudspeaker that exhibits qualities which perfectly embody those of Acoustic Energy. The AE100² has been designed with a view to achieving high sound pressure levels from a small enclosure. This is obtained principally through the use of a 130mm mid-bass drive unit built around an ultra-high force, long throw motor system. Bass performance is augmented by a slot shaped duct allowing for a considerable cross-sectional area while negating the issues of air turbulence. A 25mm soft dome tweeter featuring our Wide Dispersion Technology completes the driver compliment and is housed within a 15mm HDF cabinet. Taking design cues from the award-winning 500 Series and finished in a choice of satin white, black or walnut vinyl veneer finishes. The AE100² is sure to look good placed on speaker stands or bookshelves, while delivering a sound that belies its compact size.

This speaker offers a big sound from a slim-line enclosure, tastefully styled to blend into a wide range of domestic environments. Twin bass drive units underpin the room filling performance with a dedicated mid-range driver housed in its own enclosure, carefully designed to mitigate the harmful effects of rear wave reflections. Integrated within the perfectly matched Wide Dispersion Technology (WDT) waveguide, Acoustic Energy’s 25mm soft dome tweeter manages the high frequencies with controlled dispersion, high sensitivity and low distortion.The 3-way crossover is impedance compensated to avoid the resonance issues which would otherwise slow bass delivery and colour mid-range performance. Particular attention has also been paid to the phase and time alignment for optimum integration and soundstage. The inert cabinet enclosure is constructed from 15mm HDF and like it’s smaller AE109² brother, supplied mass loaded to help dampen cabinet vibrations.
