The X-CD9 is a CD player with analog and digital outputs. But the analog output has something special: as you can see on the front panel, two miniature audio tubes deliver a musical, unharmed signal to your amplifier. Great care has been taken in powering this CD player using a toroidal transformer. It provides stable and clean power for all analog and digital circuits such as CD mechanism, laser control and digital-to-analog converter (DAC).Equipped with coaxial (RCA) and optical (TOSLINK) digital outputs, unbalanced (RCA) and balanced (XLR) analogue outputs, the X-CD9 is the ideal CD player for your Hi-Fi system and your large CD collection.

This technology delivers high-quality sound detail with its low-distortion architecture, in addition to 32-bit resolution digital filter processing. The AK4490 supports up to 768kHz PCM and 11.2MHz DSD (Direct Stream Digital), suitable for playback of high-resolution audio sources. Five digital filters are integrated in the DAC thus optimizing the sound reproduction. The AK4490EQ is suitable for converting high-resolution sound sources that the X-Stream 9 masters perfectly. This 32-bit / 8-core asynchronous "high-speed" input enables playback of all types of files up to DSD 5,6GHz. The X’Stream 9 can be set to variable or fixed output for a perfect match with the input level of your integrated amplifier. The volume will be controlled from the remote control or via the device itself. The X-Stream 9 is also a DAC, it has 3 optical inputs and 2 optical inputs. In addition, our player has both balanced (XLR) and unbalanced analog stereo (RCA) stereo outputs as well as two optical and coaxial digital outputs. The X-Stream 9 includes a Bluetooth Direct Digital (BDD) port for connecting our X-FTB 01 digital Bluetooth receiver. This receiver incorporates the APTX which ensures CD quality on all your sources.

See for yourself : Designed around two mono  preamplifiers built in the same box, our stereo preamplifier PX1 can be qualified as a real dual mono, two  EI standard transformers , shielded with mu-metal sheet, expensive but really efficient solution. The PX1 is the focal point of your High fidelity system. Even if the sound quality was our main priority, we would like that our preamplifier should be able to run all the current sources : analog, dematerialized or physic digital sources Nothing has been forgotten, each input has been enhanced in order to achieve the highest level of music resolution. The PX1 offers nine analog inputs such as balanced input and one customizable MM or MC phono input with double level. The parameters of the phono cartridge capacitance  are adjustable. The  digital side was also not forgotten, and the PX1 offers three  optical inputs, one coax, one USB B (asynchronous X-mos) as one USB A. The conversion of the digital signal is done by the famous Wolfson WM8740 converter. These digital inputs are completed by a proprietary protocol allowing to connect the direct path Bluetooth  adaptor X-FTB01. It is a direct processing of signal (direct path) in order to keep the original quality of the signal . The interactive menu offers you 2 modes of use. The mode Class A or the mode « discrete. The Class A output is built on a circuit based only on bipolar transistors. It is double cascade circuit offering a highest performance that allows to control and limit the distorsion, so very homogeneous and polarized in Class A. The discrete output is a stage based on a more classical typology with a JFET input differential stage and a current mirror with bipolar transistors with a polarized Class AB  output. This typology brings more odd harmonics distorsion, sometimes less appreciated when you are listenning, but sometimes perceived as well defined too. The use of the PX1 is particularly easy due to its single rotary key with button push to acceed to all the menu choice as input selection, volume adjustment, tone settings, loudness, APD function (disconnection of the auto power off after 30 minutes of inactivity) On the outputs side, the PX1 is also really complete as for inputs : one balanced XLR, one unbalanced Cinch, one Rec Out, one Pre Out Hi pass, two sub-bass. Last but not least, the engineers didn’t forget the headphones listenning lovers, so under the device you will find the switches that will allow you to adjust independantly  gain and output impedance  for 2 headphones (gain : +6,0,-4dB, output impedance : from 0 to 100 Ω).

The X-Cd5, new CD player combines a superb presentation to a perfect technical accuracy. The X-Cd5 is composed of a metal frame that reduces the risk of interference between the different components of your Hi-Fi system. The metal mechanical component is suspended in order to avoid the development of vibrations during playback. Nothing has been left to chance, all resistors and capacitors are "audiophiles"components. The audio output stage was carefully designed, bringing a great softness and real natural musical rendition, outstanding in its category.The X-Cd5 can read CD – CDR – MP3 and Hybrid SACD. The converter 24 bits – 192 kHz, ensures outstanding performing ability. The switched-mode power supply provides electrical power to the different circuits. The CD player , X-Cd5 provides two stereo analog outputs, one balanced (XLR) and one unbalanced (RCA) as two digital outputs, one optican and one coaxial. One USB allows to connect an USB key with music files, those are drive by the remote control. Without any signal, those products turn automatically on stanby mode after around 30 minutes. This was done for energy-savings, in order to follow EC rules. The remote control device will make it easier to use.
