The CCM683 is a true high performance ceiling-mount speaker. The speaker features a 200mm (8in) woven blue Aramid fiber cone bass/midrange driver and an aluminium tweeter in a neat circular die-cast chassis. The tweeter’s housing pivots for adjustable off-axis treble response and the die-cast chassis provides extra rigidity that results in a cleaner, faster bass. The speaker also has a three-position EQ switch for a better off-axis response. The blue Aramid fiber cone means that the unit is well hidden behind the grille but still produces a remarkably clear and dynamic sound.
Little Diamond 805 D4 might be smaller than its floorstanding siblings, but it’s no lightweight: its beautifully constructed Reverse-Wrap cabinet, stiff aluminium bass pods and 165mm (6.5in) Continuum™ mid-bass cone afford it exceptional bass extension and scale for a relatively compact speaker. Diamond dome tweeter One of our most significant accomplishments over the past two decades, the ultra-stiff, supremely accurate Diamond dome tweeter is the perfect combination of low mass, exceptional stiffness and outstanding accuracy. 15 years after we introduced it, we haven’t found a better tweeter dome technology. Solid Body Tweeter assembly Our newest Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top housing features an elongated form with a longer tube-loading system, producing an even more free and open sound with high frequencies. The carefully decoupled housing is milled from a single solid block of aluminium to better resist resonance. Rear-mounted crossover The new reverse-wrap orientation of the cabinet on 805 D4 means we can place its sensitive crossover components inside their own, dedicated space within the cabinet, which has critical benefits to both performance and serviceability. We’ve taken the opportunity to upgrade the speaker terminals, too. The science of sound Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. We question, we examine, we understand and then we evolve. We use computer modelling to explore and reimagine every aspect of loudspeaker design. Learn more about all the technologies that combine to make 800 Series Diamond so special here. Go large Why step up from 805 D4 to 804 D4? First, 804 D4 is a three-way speaker, with twin 165mm (6.5in) Aerofoil™ bass cones – and that has huge benefits to its power and scale. Second, as a three-way speaker, it includes a dedicated midrange cone, so voices and other details will sound more accurate.

At the centre of it all The centre-channel speaker is arguably the most important in home theatre – and the HTM81 D4 has an enviable array of advanced technologies to reinforce that point, including Solid Body tweeter-on-top, a decoupled Continuum™ Cone midrange drive unit and twin 200mm (8in) Aerofoil™ bass cones. Aerofoil bass cone Our Aerofoil bass cone technology remains an outstanding solution to the conundrum of combining low mass and high stiffness in bass cones, thanks to its carbon-fibre skin and variable-profile foam core. Now, we have added the foam Anti-Resonance Plug for lower distortion and even cleaner bass. Aluminium bass pods HTM81 D4 mounts two Aerofoil bass cones in twin solid aluminium bass pods, each of which is clamped into an aluminium plate fixed to the stiffest part of its curved cabinet. Formed as single pieces of metal, these stiff structures provide the perfect mechanical location for those powerful bass cones. The science of sound Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. We question, we examine, we understand and then we evolve. We use computer modelling to explore and reimagine every aspect of loudspeaker design. It’s a Wrap The new HTM82 D4 may be our most compact centre-channel speaker, but it shares the design DNA of its larger siblings, including the Reverse Wrap cabinet and Matrix™ bracing. The combination of the two technologies ensures a quieter, more acoustically efficient and better-sounding speaker than ever. Reverse Wrap cabinet Instead of a conventional loudspeaker box, our cabinets are made from a continuous curved section of wood, with the drive units mounted at the heart of the curvature. This stiffer, more inert structure resists mechanical resonances far better and also ensures better dispersion of sound. Continuum™ cone midrange Introduced as a huge evolutionary change for us in 2015, the Continuum cone midrange drive has swiftly become a fundamental element in every Bowers & Wilkins loudspeaker. With exceptionally low noise, it ensures outstanding resolution without coloration or masking of detail. Decoupled midrange assembly HTM82 D4 has a dedicated midrange cone using three key Bowers & Wilkins technologies: the Continuum cone, Biomimetic Suspension and midrange decoupling, the latter ensuring minimal interference from the operation of the loudspeaker’s bass drivers. The result is outstanding clarity. The science of sound Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. We question, we examine, we understand and then we evolve. We use computer modelling to explore and reimagine every aspect of loudspeaker design. Learn more about all the technologies that combine to make 800 Series Diamond™ so special here.

Reverse Wrap cabinet Instead of a conventional loudspeaker box, the cabinet in 804 D4 is made from a continuous curved section of wood, with the drive units mounted at the heart of the curvature. This stiffer, more inert structure resists mechanical resonances far better and also ensures better dispersion of sound. Aluminium plinth A great speaker needs a rock-solid foundation. The new 804 D4 uses a downwards-firing Flowport exiting on to a solid aluminium plinth complete with a steel constrained layer damping sheet, which controls unwanted resonance. It also has greatly upgraded spikes for maximum stability and durability. The science of sound Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. This Bowers & Wilkins architectural monitor is designed to be used anywhere: it's perfect for use around the pool or mounted outdoors year-round, thanks to its weather resistance. Sound anywhere Flexible, durable and great-sounding. The easy-install bracket allows the AM-1 to be mounted vertically or horizontally, for total flexibility of installation. Better bass, sealed tight AM-1 needs a sealed enclosure to shrug off the rain and splashes, but that's not great for solid, powerful bass. So Bowers & Wilkins engineers designed this clever auxiliary bass radiator to give extra low-end punch from a compact enclosure. Sound where you want it We wanted to keep the AM-1 small, yet tough and flexible, so the combination of a slender wall-bracket, a clever one-plug mounting system and 220 degree rotation means we can deliver your music wherever you want it – indoors or out.
