THE SONIC SEQUELWhen Electro-Voice introduced the first-generation ZLX series in 2013, the goal was to bring real pro-audio performance to a more accessible price point than ever before, combining superior Electro-Voice sound quality with lightweight-yet-robust construction and breakthrough configuration and control. Users around the world soon took notice, and ZLX’s proven performance and day-to-day reliability quickly positioned it as the undisputed industry benchmark – the first and best in the product class it created. Now, adding to the momentum of well over one million ZLX units delivered globally, ZLX G2 steps up as the sequel to that success story. The point of entry into the Electro-Voice portable loudspeaker portfolio, ZLX G2 builds on its predecessor’s winning formula with increased maximum SPL, frequency range, durability and connectivity, along with a range of ergonomic refinements.SUPERIOR ENGINEERING, SUPERIOR SOUNDThe standout audio quality that made ZLX the go-to choice for both musical performance/playback and spoken-word applications has been leveled-up with ZLX G2. Maximum SPL has increased to 129 dB (ZLX-15P-G2), and premium components behind the grille ensure ZLX G2 offers stunning acoustic performance for everyday use. The woofer and compression driver in each ZLX G2 model are coupled to a patented SST (Signal Synchronized Transducers) ported waveguide, enhancing low-frequency extension and delivering evenvertical and horizontal coverage across all frequencies – all while allowing a more compact form factor. ZLX G2 packs a sonic punch that’s worthy of the Electro-Voice name.

A built-in “kick-back” angle allows the 12” and 15” versions to project upwards at a 23º angle in a vertical orientation. The stance of the enclosure has been redesigned to aim straight forward when placed directly atop a subwoofer (i.e., without the use of a pole).A choice of mounting accessories is available to permanently install ZLX G2 models: a “U” style wall bracket allows 12” and 15” models to be either vertically or horizontally mounted; a long-arm pole-mount style wall bracket for the 12” and 15” versions allows vertical mounting with tilt adjustment; a short-arm pole-mount-style wall bracket for the 8” version allows vertical mounting. Slipcovers are available for all model sizes.

Electro-Voice is expanding its industry-leading EVOLVE series with the launch of the EVOLVE 50M column loudspeaker system. The EVOLVE 50M features ElectroVoice’s new QuickSmart Link digital audio and control technology, an onboard mixer, DSP and effects - all combined within the sleek EVOLVE 50 format. The EVOLVE 50M is the perfect choice for bands/musicians, AV rental companies, DJs and any application where true professional audio performance is required in a super-compact and portable package.
The EVOLVE 50 Portable Column System is a three component loudspeaker system powered by a 1000 W Class-D amplifier and driven by Electro-Voice's QuickSmartDSP. The system consists of a 15 mm wooden, ported, powered subwoofer enclosure that houses a 12” subwoofer capable of a functional frequency output down to 37 Hz.The bi-directional aluminum pole’s connection to the subwoofer is secured using a magnet, and the column array is gravity-held to the sub pole. The signal is internally routed to the components.Eight 3.5" neodymium drivers in the column array coupled with the 12" subwoofer delivers up to 127 dB SPL. The eight composite waveguides control high frequencies with 120° of horizontal coverage, and 40° of asymmetrical (down-facing) vertical coverage to ensure suitable output for sitting and standing audiences. The sub pole and column array come prepackaged in a carrying bag.The processing engine allows for easy setup via four presets (Music, Live, Speech, and Club), three-band EQ, five user-programmable presets (Store and Recall settings), output delay, phantom power (+15V), visual monitoring of limiter status, input level control and meters, and master volume control to ensure optimal gain structure. The new Electro-Voice QuickSmart Mobile application utilizes Bluetooth® Low Energy (BTLE) technology for the wireless configuration, control, and monitoring of up to six EVOLVE 50 systems simultaneously. High resolution Bluetooth® audio streaming adds convenience for wireless music playback in breakout rooms, intermission, and musical accompaniment.

Ideal for capturing vocal and instrument sources, the RE320 delivers unparalleled detail, dynamic content, and natural tone.Variable D is Electro-Voice's exclusive solution to the tonal changes associated with the proximity effect found in other directional microphones. Providing balanced and uniform frequency response up to 180° off-axis, the result is always stable and linear tonal performance — even when the sound source is moving around the mic. Ideal for capturing the critical details of voice, amplified, and acoustic instruments, Variable-D capsules deliver impeccably smooth and natural tone on virtually any sound source.Utilizing the same humbucking coil technology found in the RE20 and RE27N/D to arrest electro magnetic field interference introduced by sources close "to the microphone", the RE320 produces an ultra-quiet signal path free from the hum and buzz found in other dynamic microphones. The RE320 incorporates a two-position "Dual Personality" frequency response switch which allows engagement of two vastly different performance curves.
