The crème of the crop for Guild’s Starfire line, the Starfire VI has it all—glitz, glamour and gorgeous tone. Featuring Guild’s iconic double-cutaway Starfire body shape with a solid spruce center block, the VI’s prestige is built to last. Dual LB-1 Little Bucker pickups—replicas of Guild’s 1960s smaller size humbucking pickups—offer a range of tones well-suited for a variety of playing styles and genres. The Starfire VI has a unique, three-piece maple/walnut/maple neck and a bound ebony fingerboard inlaid with stunning mother-of-pearl and abalone V-blocks. Additional features include a pinned Tune-o-Matic bridge with ebony base, 5-ply black and ivory purfling, deluxe f-hole and body binding, and a Guild Vibrato Tailpiece—topped by an adornment of gold hardware. It’s available in high-gloss Blonde (from AAA Flamed Maple), Snowcrest White, and Shoreline Mist. Includes a Guild Deluxe hardshell case. It presents the same exceptional appointments as its brother, the X-175 Manhattan, including a gracefully sculpted hollow body, rock-solid three-piece neck and electrifying dual single-coil Franz P90 Dog Ear pickups, but also features the addition of a Guild vibrato tailpiece and is available in a handsome blonde finish.

Solid body. Guild style form the '70s is back and better than ever with the return of the solid-body S-100 guitar. With its solid and slightly offset mahogany body, the new S-100 Polara™ evokes its esteemed and hard-rocking predecessor of more than 40 years ago. Responsive and Versatile, it also features a distinctive 24 2/4" scale, classic Cherry Red finish rock-solid mahogany neck, and a potent pair of Guild HB-1 pickups. Expanding on the double cut body shape made famous by the Guild Starfire, the Starfire I DC features semi-hollow body construction utilizing a mahogany center block for reduced feedback and clear sustain. Retaining the airy, crisp tone you would expect from a semi-hollow body, The Cherry Starfire I DC features an elegantly arched mahogany top, back, and sides; while the Vintage Walnut, Pelham Blue, and Emerald Green models feature an elegantly arched maple top, back, and sides. The 24 3/4” scale length and modern thin “U“ neck profile provide a fast, smooth playing neck, while the 18th fret neck-to-body joint provides easy access to the upper register of the fretboard. Premium Guild Vintage 18 tuners with 18:1 gear ratio and Tune-o-matic bridge ensure the strings are accessible and in tune. Rich, vintage tone is injected by Guild’s own HB-2 Alnico II humbuckers, and the push-pull coil splitting feature allows for singing, single coil tones from either pickup. All of these features come standard on the Starfire I platform. Available in Cherry Red or Vintage Walnut finish.
