Our turntables demand conscious music listening. The Debut PRO S takes this philosophy to the extreme. We finished all parts except for the polished spindle in matte black. The manual controls invite the listener to interact with the turntable: turn it on, place the record on the platter, move and lower the tonearm. The musical reward follows the tactile experience. No unnecessary switches, LEDs, or labeling distract from what is essential.A milestone for the next decadesThe Debut PRO S brings an absolutely new design to Pro-Ject turntables. The audiophile turntable is convincing in all respects – not only visually, but more importantly also in terms of sound. The precision CNC milled parts are optically perfectly coordinated and lead the Debut PRO S to its modern simple, elegant and unprecedented design. Change between them easily with the toggle switch. With the supplied round belt for 78 rpm you can also listen to your shellac records.A new platter – a deeper dishThe die-cast aluminium platter is reworked and precision balanced in an extra step to obtain an evenly spinning platter. It is anti-magnetic, allowing also MC cartridges to work properly. The anti-magnetic heavy aluminium platter has a ring made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) on the inside that helps to dampen all resonances and minimizes wow and flutter. The included Record Puck E provides an extra level of damping and stability.Azimuth & VTA AdjustmentThe newly designed tonearm base allows you to adjust both the azimuth and the vertical tracking angle (VTA). The tonearm height can be continuously adjusted by loosening the two grub screws. These settings give you the option of adapting the tonearm to height changes allowing the use of different turntable mats or other cartridges to always achieve the best sound quality. Setting and experimenting with the VTA & Azimuth is crucial in extracting every last bit of performance out of your cartridges.PRO FeaturesPick it S2 C - Unheard precision & dynamicsThe perfect combination of components is the key to achieve the great sound of the Pick it PRO S.Alu Sub-Platter - Sustainable componentsThe diamond cut aluminium sub-platter can be machined to much improved and higher tolerances and will be a substantial upgrade to regular sub-platters.10" S-Shape - New tonearm designThis super stiff and uniquely dampened aluminium tonearm ensures perfect tracking of the record groove.VTA & Azimuth - Fully adjustableThe Debut PRO S comes with fully adjustable Azimuth & VTA. It offers you the possibility to modify your turntable as you want it.33/45/78 RPM - High precision motor controlThe playback speeds are electronically controlled with precision, which guarantees the most accurate and stable music reproduction. Linear power supply your turnable & phono preamp. Cleanest power for your phono setup! The power supply is a very important part of the audio path and significantly contributes to the sonic quality of an audio product. With the new Power Box RS2 Phono you can connect both, your turntable and phono preamp, and benefit from the perfect power contribution. The new Power Box is compatible with all of our Phono Boxes and every 15V DC Pro-Ject turntable. A linear power supply consists of a massive toroidal transformer, which avoids penetration of interferences from mains into the audio component. The built-in transformer has a much higher power reserve compared to the standard power adapter. It has very low output impedance and in combination with large filtration capability it can easily manage all power needs. Sound staging, darkness of silent backgrounds and small detail resolution will improve strongly and contribute to a far better overall performance of each component. Power Box RS2 Phono is made in Europe and available in a black or silver full aluminium housing.Premium Connect it Power cables (1m) included!
The Phono Box DS3 B model offers some of the high-end features of the Phono Box RS2 at an affordable price and trusted Pro-Ject quality. One of those is our new True Balanced Connection. The Phono Box DS3 B employs a steel chassis enveloped by aluminium panels. This construction offers very high rigidity and isolation against interferences, which is essential for the new technology inside. Magnetic wooden side panels are available separately as add-ons. You can connect up to two turntables simultaneously – all parameters for each input get stored in the memory. Perfectly match the Phono Box DS3 B to a wide variety of cartridges. Load impedance can be set continuously via a potentiometer, a system invented by Pro-Ject Audio Systems, to adjust the impedance during playback and assess the impact of different loading options in real-time. No other manufacturer implements this feature as elegantly!Cartridges are balanced signal transducers by nature! Due to the internal wiring of MM cartridges, you'll need a MC cartridge to access the entirety of that balanced signal. Together with our new True Balanced Connection cables you'll be able to access high-end features that were previously only available on the most expensive phono stages. And the best: any Pro-Ject turntable with RCA, miniXLR or 5P output can do it!A TECHNICAL DEEP DIVEThe Phono Box DS3 B incorporates a true, fully balanced gain stage design. Whether you're using a single-ended RCA or balanced connection, both times the fully symmetrical gain stage can optimize the signal-to-noise ratios, feeding the fully passive and discrete RIAA equalization stage with the cleanest signal to work its magic on. Entirely split passive equalization allows for better impedance matching and lower deviation from the ideal RIAA curve. The Phono Box DS3 B uses fully discrete audio circuitry. A discrete circuit is composed of disparate, individual electronic components, also called discrete components. Years of experience have proven that even the best Op-Amps do not come close to the neutral, natural, dynamic, and vivid presentations of discrete circuit.TRUE BALANCED CONNECTIONThe symmetrical design is the fundamental standout feature! Connect your turntable via the 5-pin mini XLR cable or standard XLR cables and enjoy the benefits of our new True Balanced Connection. A truly balanced gain stage can extract the final musical information, effectively filtering out any noise from interferences stemming from our noisy, modern homes (household appliances, wifi & Bluetooth, power cables, audio amplifiers).
The XA B balanced acrylic turntable is a gorgeous, high-performance edition to the X Series. It implements a 10″ one-piece aluminum tonearm with a balanced 5-pin DIN output. Also utilizing a balanced balanced MM phono cartridge (the first of its kind!) it brings you one step closer to balanced operation. You need only a DIN > Mini XLR or DIN to XLR cable with which to connect the turntable to any of our Phono Box S3 B, Phono Box DS3 B, Tube Box DS3 B, or Phono Box RS2 balanced phono preamps.A Clearer PictureFor over 30 years we’ve designed & built turntables that focus on sound quality over convenience-oriented features. Along the way we’ve experimented with materials that vary in their resonance properties, and acrylic has remained . Our first ever acrylic turntable (the 6.9Perspective) was a huge success. 6PerspeX variants have been around for 15+ years too, not to mention a host of 2Xperience variants in acrylic. Needless to say, the limited run of our Perspective Final Edition turntable sold out swiftly as well. We take pride in how these turntables take advantage of both the aesthetic & sonic virtues of acrylic in hi-fi, but using acrylic in manufacturing not as easy as you might think. True, it’s anti-resonant, but the rest of the turntable too must lend sonic value to the equation. Measurement & critical listening reveal that acrylic can actually over-damp sonics if it’s not used thoughtfully. XA B uses an aluminum tonearm & platter, the Pick it PRO Balanced cartridge & purpose-selected isolation feet to render music in a lively, dynamic & detail-rich manner… an experience that becomes doubly immersive when you decide to take the plunge into the world of balanced phono.Premium 10″ TonearmThe XA B turntable features a premium 10“ one-piece aluminum armtube. The single-piece tube heightens rigidity while the 10″ length widens the tonearm’s arc, reducing tracing error. The low-friction 4-pinpoint cardanic bearing assembly guarantees precise, stable & accurate tracking. We’ve selected the aluminum armtube over carbon fiber for its sonic merits when paired with the resonant frequency of the acrylic plinth. The tonearm also offers audiophiles full control over their adjustment parameters. One can fine-tune not only tracking force & anti-skate, but also VTA & azimuth if needed. Listeners with cartridge-mounting skills are encouraged to try various cartridges and/or record mats to achieve their desired sonics! Our classic anti-skating system (adaptive anti-skating) changes with the skating force, which varies across a record side as groove conditions change. The TPE-damped counterweight significantly reduces unwanted armtube resonance. We use high-precision stainless steel cardanic tonearm bearings, meaning there’s minimal friction as the tonearm moves and absolutely no ‘play’ (or wiggle) in the bearing structure. This allows the stylus & cartridge to do their jobs unimpeded.True BalancedThe Pro-Ject Pick it PRO Balanced cartridge allows for “True Balanced” signal transmission. A revised version of the Pick it PRO, we re-route the grounding so that it sends a symmetrical signal. The big advantage of a balanced connection is its ability to remove accrued noise and interference from the transmission line (not to mention +6dB gain!). In short, you get more music & less noise – the improvement is not subtle. Our True Balanced cable range offers several options for connecting your XA B to our Phono Box S3 B, Phono Box DS3 B, Tube Box DS3 B or Phono Box RS2 phono stages. Any phono preamp with mini XLR or XLR inputs will do the trick! With XA B’s DIN output, you’d require either an DIN > mini XLR or DIN > XLR cable.High-Quality DIN > RCA CableCables cannot add any information back to a given signal, rather, they’re responsible for allowing as much musical information as possible through to the receiving device. This is why we include our Connect it Phono E 5P > RCA cable. Optimized for phono applications, we’ve implemented quality metals & careful configuration to ensure lossless signal transmission.TPE-Damped Die-Cast PlatterThe 1.7kg (3.75lbs) die-cast aluminum platter is precision-balanced with additional machining after casting. This facilitates perfect platter rotation while playing records. The heavy aluminum platter also adds a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) damping ring & corresponding cutout on the underside, muting any resonance created by the metal record platter and contributing to the flywheel effect.Damped, Height-Adjustable FeetThe XA B stands on three damped & height-adjustable feet for excellent isolation. By using 3 feet we are able to increase stability on uneven surfaces for optimal leveling – a critical setup parameter in terms of maximizing the performance of a tonearm & cartridge.Sophisticated DC/AC GeneratorOur turntables use switch-mode power supplies for good reason. They take the unrefined AC power from your wall and convert it to DC. That DC power is then fed to DC/AC generator within the turntable, which in turn powers the AC motor. The advantage is that a completely new sine wave is created by the generator, fully decoupling your turntable from the dirty AC power coming from your outlet. This amounts to steady power being fed to the motor thereby enhancing speed stability. Two Upgrades in One BoxClean & stable power is critical for phono setups. The included power supply is a great starting point but you can take it a step further. Power Box S3 Phono provides power for the Debut PRO B (15V) as well as your Pro-Ject phono stage (18V). Its two outputs are specifically engineered to power Pro-Ject turntables and phono preamps simultaneously. The sophisticated DC filtration can have a dramatic impact on overall sound quality. In addition to the sonic improvements, Power Box S3 Phono also offers users a cleaner cable solution (only one wall-wart needed for the PSU).

High-precision cartridge alignment tool with super-fast workflowCartridge alignment with easy, fast and accurate workflowAlign it PRO gives you access a totally unique and effective workflow that makes aligning cartridges incredibly fast and efficient. You can set the Align it PRO up for the exact length of your tonearm and fix it to the center of your tonearm bearing. For Pro-Ject tonearms, the fixing rod has two sides. A pointed end – excellent for any type of tonearm or bearing. And a second flat end, which fits exactly into the center screw of our higher-end tonearms and their bearings (X1, X2, CC and CC Evo, …).With this approach the exact distance for the overhang is set up in no time – with unmatched accuracy on top. You do not need to go back and forth between the inner and outer null-points for a 100% accurate overhang distance, like you would have to with other kinds of alignment protractors! This is also the reason why only the inner null-point is printed on the Align it PRO!For beginners or pros, the Align it PRO comes with detailed instructions and background knowledge to equip you with all the information you need to maximise your vinyl playback.Baerwald GeometryThe Align it PRO uses the Baerwald geometry. Baerwald is an excellent allrounder that many people choose to start their alignment journey with. It strikes an ideal balance of inner and outer grooves tracking, while maintaining excellent linearity in the middle part of your vinyl. The music industry nowadays tends to go back to shorter lengths (20 min or lower per side), and uses 2 records – 4 sides – per album. Baerwald is a perfect choice for this trend and works universally well for many other styles too. Align it PRO is suitable for all Pro-Ject turntables and many other manufacturer‘s turntables and tonearms depending on their pivot to spindle distance.
A2 technologyThe A2 continues the success of our fully mechanical automatic turntables. With the A2, you can now select the drop off point for 7“ (singles) or 12“ (LPs) for 45 RPM records. We have also added 78 RPM to the system allowing you to dig back into old shellac collections. To enjoy listening to your A2, just press start and the tonearm automatically moves to the lead in groove of the record. Once playing, the automatics are completely taken out of the equation. And because the automatics are working entirely mechanically – no additional electronics needed – they truly do not influence or degrade sound quality during playback! At the end of the record, the tonearm is automatically brought back and gently lowered into its resting position and the motor shut off.Why sub-chassis?Automatic turntables have many small mechanical parts, which means you need more hollow space in the chassis to fit them. Hollow spaces are the biggest problem as they always reinforce resonances. By using a sub-chassis, you decouple the tonearm and drive from the chassis. In other words, a sub-chassis is a MUST for automatic turntables and enables them to reach excellent sound performance.Improved Automatic MechanismWe have invested in a new aluminium diecast top for the whole sub-chassis and automatic mechanism. We have tried to avoid plastic parts from the original German automatic design as much as possible. This is the first time in all the 50 years of its existance that the original automatic design has received an improvement like this. Due to the new aluminium diecast cover and the massive chassis, the whole sub-chassis construction is more effective and isolates unwanted resonance much better.Massless Tracking Force AdjustmentThe A2 uses a new system for setting the tracking force. As usual, you first level out the tonearm with the damped counterweight. Damping the counter- weight makes the tonearm as a whole more robust and decouples the counterweight from the tonearm reducing resonant frequencies. Afterwards the tracking force is set by turning a dial directly on the tonearm bearing. Not only is this system very fast, precise and efficient, it also keeps the center of gravity directly on top of the bearing center. The spring based anti-skating can also be adjusted directly on the tonearm base.Improved Tonearm & Cardanic Bearing The A2 features an 8.3” ultra-light-mass aluminium tonearm with an improved tonearm tube with bigger diameter. The is a perfect match for the slightly heavier Ortofon 2M Red. In combination we retain the super fast response and all transient detail with lots of fine microdynamics, while the new 2M Red adds a lot of body and musical warmth. The tonearm bearing has received a major upgrade, is now made out of aluminium and features a 4-pin-point cardanic construction with steel tip ball bearings from our own production. This allows for unhindered and free tonearm movement with the lowest amount of friction possible. The A2 will track your vinyl records with the utmost of precision and tightness. Why Ultra-Light-Mass Tonearm?Since forever, there has been this technical discussion about light-weight tonearms with high compliance MM cartridges vs. heavy tonearms with low compliance MC cartridges. Both approaches have advantages and disadvantages and you‘ll find detailed analysis in concerned literature. However, when it comes to automatic turntables, we NEED ultra-light-mass tonearms. There is no way around it. We need the automatic mechanics to be like those in mechanical watches: small and precise. A heavy tonearm would result in a rougher mechanical design as much higher masses have to be moved. Therefore, the A2 reaches performance hights like no other automatic turntable on the market.

A Milestone For The Next Decades The Debut PRO brings an absolutely new design to Pro-Ject turntables. The audiophile turntable is convincing in all respects – not only visually, but more importantly also in terms of sound. The precision CNC milled parts are optically perfectly coordinated and lead the Debut PRO to its modern simple, elegant and unprecedented design. The nickel finish of all these aluminium components result in a hard, resistant surface. This process enables us to produce very high-quality and sustainable components and avoid plastics and similar materials that continue to age over time and would more importantly also degrade sound quality. The tonearm bearing is a completely new design. Precision CNC'd out of a single block of aluminium, you can see all the production stages above. The last step is putting a nickel finish on it. This will increase the rigidity of the bearing, ensuring free and fluid movement of the tonearm and precise tracking without material degration in looks or function. Deeply driven The electronically regulated synchronous motor drives the platter and guarantees the most accurate and stable speeds. Change between them easily with the toggle switch. With the supplied round belt for 78 rpm you can also listen to your shellac records. A new platter – a deeper dish The new Debut PRO platter is a first on any Pro-Ject turntable. It features a notch for the record label and together with our Record Puck PRO (available separately) the puck's weight will press your record tightly against the platter. The die-cast aluminium platter is reworked and precision balanced in an extra step to obtain an evenly spinning platter. It is anti-magnetic, allowing MC cartridges to work properly. Delve deep into the vast upgrade path the Debut PRO has to offer! The anti-magnetic heavy aluminium platter has a ring made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) on the inside that helps to dampen all resonances and minimizes wow and flutter. Our seperately available Record Puck PRO provides an extra level of damping and stability, so it is the perfect add-on for the Debut PRO. Hybrid Tonearm The new Debut PRO features a one-piece carbon-aluminium sandwich tonearm. The carbon layer gives the tonearm a high degree of rigidity, while the inner aluminium tube takes over the damping of the tonearm. This makes the tonearm perfect to be upgraded with higher-end MC cartridges! Azimuth & VTA Adjustment The newly designed tonearm base allows you to adjust both the azimuth and the vertical tracking angle (VTA). The tonearm height can be continuously adjusted by loosening the two grub screws. These settings give you the option of adapting the tonearm to height changes allowing the use of different turntable mats or other cartridges to always achieve the best sound quality. Setting and experimenting with the VTA & Azimuth is crucial in extracting every last bit of performance out of your cartridges. VTA & Azimuth Fully adjustable The Debut PRO comes with fully adjustable Azimuth & VTA. It offers you the possibility to modify your turntable as you want it. 33/45/78 RPM High precision motor control The playback speeds are electronically controlled with precision, which guarantees the most accurate and stable music reproduction. Change between speeds easily with the toggle switch. Bearing block Complete new design The precision CNC milled and nickel coated tonearm bearing parts are completely new and designed just for the PRO. Special Platter TPE damped & anti magnetic The heavy aluminium platter has a ring made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) on the inside that helps to dampen all resonances and minimizes wow and flutter. Metal Feet Damped & height adjustable The three height adjustable damped aluminium feet guarantee the perfect stand & massively reduce risk of acoustical feedback.

The X2 is made for those who take great joy in the fine details, the build-quality, the high-grade materials and even more audio performance. Structurally, the X2 is supported by its large, heavy, dense and stiff MDF structure, reducing unwanted resonances to almost imperceptible levels. By adding this extra mass, the X2 is even quieter, allowing the vinyl reproduction to become more detailed and precise. Inside, it houses a sophisticated DC/AC generator board which, combined with the convenient speed control board, delivers clean and stable power to the silent motor system. To get the best performance out of it, we have improved the motor suspension. Remaining vibrations are damped and eliminated, so they are not transmitted onto the chassis, platter and cartridge. The X2‘s motor chassis is carefully balanced and suspended on a precision tuned TPE belt; this way the motor chassis is effectively decoupled from the main plinth for optimal performance. It is free floating, horizontally completely level and able to operate at the highest performance levels. In the X2, the motor drives a new, heavy, non-resonant Acryl platter via a sub-platter drive system and a premium grade main bearing for liquid smooth rotation. The new 9” carbon/ aluminium sandwich construction tonearm results in better internal damping. This also means, the entire tonearm bearing is upgraded to compensate for the extra mass; altogether tracking will be more precise, stable and accurate. The increased mass makes the tonearm an excellent fit for low compliance MC cartridges. Finished as a one-piece, with no resonance-inducing headshell, the X2 can also be set for azimuth and VTA adjustment. The TPE damped counterweight reduces arm-cartridge resonances by as much as 50% Supplied either with or without a premium Pick it 2M-Silver cartridge it can be ready to play within a few minutes of unboxing. Also supplied in the box is our Connect-IT E RCA cables, a semi-balanced, low-capacitance cable with superior shielding that’s optimized for turntable use.
