The FiiO FH9 in-ear headphones feature seven drivers to deliver detailed sound reproduction across the spectrum and articulate registers. Certified Hi-Res, they adopt a hybrid structure that combines a dynamic driver with balanced armature models to ensure optimal performance across the entire frequency range. Composed of titanium alloy earpieces, the FiiO FH9 in-ear headphones feature a detachable cable with braided pure silver conductors for optimal sound signal transmission and high durability. The FiiO FH9 headphones adopt the interchangeable filter system introduced by the FiiO FH7 hybrid in-ear headphones, allowing you to fine-tune the sound signature to place a slight emphasis on bass or treble depending on your preference. 

FiiO FH9: 3-way, 7 transducers

Like all models in the manufacturer's FH range, the FiiO FH9 headphones use a hybrid design, which means that they use different types of transducers to guarantee the best possible performance in each frequency range. There are six Knowles balanced armature transducers for the reproduction of treble and midrange. The high frequencies are reproduced by Knowles SWFk-31736 transducers, renowned for their ability to reproduce clear and detailed treble without ever becoming aggressive or tiring. For the design of the transducers dedicated to the midrange, FiiO and Knowles worked together for more than two years to develop and integrate balanced armature transducers capable of reproducing this particularly important register. Indeed, the human ear is very sensitive to these frequencies, the FiiO FH9 in-ear headphones are designed to deliver rich and harmonious midrange for a coherent soundstage. Bass reproduction is handled by a 13.6 mm dynamic transducer with a DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) membrane made of ultra-rigid carbon. This second-generation model has been improved to offer a 20% higher magnetic density than the previous version. This increases the responsiveness and precision of the bass. Transients are also improved and distortion is further reduced.
