The Fiio K11 R2R headphone amplifier and DAC is the successor to the popular Fiio K11, which it improves with the integration of a fully passive R2R DAC using 96 resistors per channel in a symmetrical architecture. It is thus able to get the best out of Hi-Res tracks up to 24 bits / 384 kHz and DSD256. Its high-power amplification offers a dual balanced and unbalanced headphone output to easily associate any headphones or pair of earphones.

A true demonstration of the brand's know-how, the Fiio K11 R2R headphone amplifier adopts a fully passive DAC, a technology usually found on much more expensive equipment. The conversion stage of this Fiio K11 R2R DAC thus uses 96 resistors per channel (2x 48 resistors) for a set of 192 resistors matched with a strict tolerance of 0.1%. This architecture allows for a fully analog conversion of the streams to preserve all the naturalness and richness of the recordings. Thus, the Fiio K11 R2R DAC is able to read Hi-Res files up to a high resolution of 24 bits / 384 kHz and DSD256.
