Centre Speakers
Klipsch RP-500C II The Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-500C II center speaker is the entry ticket to the American manufacturer's Reference Premiere 2022 center speaker range. Replacing the Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-500C , the Klipsch RP-500C II incorporates two new Cerametallic speakers to bring the admissible power to 100 W RMS (up to 400 W peak) and ensure a more precise reproduction. The box is reinforced and displays more fluid lines as well as a finish that stands out from the previous generation by its Premium appearance. Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-500C II: Cerametallic speakersThe Reference Premiere line has been the core of Klipsch's offering for years. The compact, column, center, surround or Atmos speakers that make it up benefit from sophisticated, high-performance technologies. For this 2022 edition, the manufacturer is renewing its most emblematic range with numerous optimizations to produce an ever more faithful and powerful sound. With the Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-500C II center speaker, this capacity takes shape thanks to two new 13.3 cm diameter mid/bass drivers. The latter use a Cerametallic membrane combined with a thin layer of sputtered copper. This design provides an ultra-rigid and low distortion conducive diaphragm. Thanks to a new spool with a 70% larger diameter, power handling is maximized, while maximizing control of the membrane, for a more linear and faithful reproduction. The new structure of the magnetic crew improves bass reproduction, while the new aluminum rings reduce distortion. This results in clearer and more natural dialogues. The optimization of the Cerametallic loudspeakers brings better power handling, reduced distortion and more detailed listening.Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-500C II: Tractrix pavilionFor decades, the acoustic horns that equip Klipsch loudspeakers have been one of its most emblematic distinctive signs. The American manufacturer has used this technique since the invention of the loudspeaker, at a time when amplifiers only produced a handful of watts. This new generation of Klipsch RP-500C II speakers places its tweeter at the heart of a Tractrix horn. This one benefits from a new design Larger edge-to-edge to significantly improve the propagation of midrange and treble frequencies to the listener. The Tractix horn also increases the efficiency of the tweeter in the midrange, thus requiring less power from the amp. In addition, the 25 mm diameter titanium dome tweeter is mounted on an LTS suspension to ensure excellent damping of body vibrations. Finally, a waveguide ensures better phasing, for optimal perception of the dialogues by all the listeners present in the room. The new Tractrix horn offers better perception of high frequencies and a more precise soundstage.Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-500C II: bass reflex The Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-500C II center speaker is made from a thick MDF frame. It has several reinforcements to suppress unwanted vibrations and resonances. The cabinet is bass-reflex loaded with Tractrix vents to ensure smoother airflow and limit turbulence. Less turbulent air helps reduce vent noise for cleaner, more powerful bassThe Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-500C II speaker is loaded with bass-reflex to maximize bass response.Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-500C II: high sensitivityThe Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-500C II speaker has an admissible power of 100 watts RMS (400 watts peak) for a frequency response that extends from 56 Hz to 25 kHz and a sensitivity of 94 dB. This high efficiency makes it possible to combine the Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-500C II speaker with low power amplifiers, as well as with medium to high power home cinema amplifiers. Thanks to its high sensitivity, the Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-500C II speaker can easily be combined with any amplifier. The Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-500C II center speaker optimizes one of the American manufacturer's most popular center speakers by providing ever better controlled dialogue reproduction, as well as better power handling.

High-precision dialogues: The Elipson Prestige Facet 11C speaker introduces a host of innovative technologies which allow it to offer a realistic and detailed reproduction of dialogues for your movies. The most visible is undeniably the ring of sculpted facets surrounding each driver, which gives the range its name. A rigorous design process ensures optimal acoustic performance, while an elegant finish allows the speaker to blend in harmoniously with your interior decor. The Prestige Facet 11C is availble in black, walnut and white. A black or white lacquer is applied to the double-layer front panel. It can reproduce frequencies as low as 55 Hz and has a continuous power rating of 120 W. A 25 mm soft dome tweeter reproduces highs with finesse and precision. The multifaceted, sculpted silicone surround rings encircling each driver reduce the baffle effect and limit diffractions. The result is an extremely precise reproduction of dialogues. Extra attention has been paid to the speaker's cabinet. The lacquered front panel is composed of two dense, thick materials and strengthened by several internal brackets. The speaker's steep-slope filter relies on highly efficient, audiophile-grade components. As for the finish quality, it is not overlooked and offers benefits such as premium-quality vinyl and a lacquered front panel. At Elipson, the back counts as much as the front. Our designers have created rounded, high-end dual speaker terminals which offer the possibility of biwiring and biamplifying while benefiting from silver-plated contacts to maximize signal transmission. Banana plugs may also be connected to the terminals. The Prestige Facet 11C's high sensitivity (92 dB) allows it to be paired with any home cinema receiver. Diamond dome tweeter One of our most significant accomplishments over the past two decades, the ultra-stiff, supremely accurate Diamond dome tweeter is the perfect combination of low mass, exceptional stiffness and outstanding accuracy. 15 years after we introduced it, we haven’t found a better tweeter dome technology. Aluminium bass pods HTM81 D4 mounts two Aerofoil bass cones in twin solid aluminium bass pods, each of which is clamped into an aluminium plate fixed to the stiffest part of its curved cabinet. Formed as single pieces of metal, these stiff structures provide the perfect mechanical location for those powerful bass cones. The science of sound Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. We question, we examine, we understand and then we evolve. We use computer modelling to explore and reimagine every aspect of loudspeaker design. It’s a Wrap The new HTM82 D4 may be our most compact centre-channel speaker, but it shares the design DNA of its larger siblings, including the Reverse Wrap cabinet and Matrix™ bracing. The combination of the two technologies ensures a quieter, more acoustically efficient and better-sounding speaker than ever. Reverse Wrap cabinet Instead of a conventional loudspeaker box, our cabinets are made from a continuous curved section of wood, with the drive units mounted at the heart of the curvature. This stiffer, more inert structure resists mechanical resonances far better and also ensures better dispersion of sound. Continuum™ cone midrange Introduced as a huge evolutionary change for us in 2015, the Continuum cone midrange drive has swiftly become a fundamental element in every Bowers & Wilkins loudspeaker. With exceptionally low noise, it ensures outstanding resolution without coloration or masking of detail. Decoupled midrange assembly HTM82 D4 has a dedicated midrange cone using three key Bowers & Wilkins technologies: the Continuum cone, Biomimetic Suspension and midrange decoupling, the latter ensuring minimal interference from the operation of the loudspeaker’s bass drivers. The result is outstanding clarity. The science of sound Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. We question, we examine, we understand and then we evolve. New to Radius, the Radius 200 centre-channel speaker is designed for rack or shelf mounting in a dedicated home theatre system and room. The driver configuration mirrors that of the 225, and so the 200 has the pedigree and fire-power to capture the detailed dynamics and vocal textures of today’s high definition movie soundtracks. Placed front and centre in a serious AV system, the still compact Radius 200 will anchor the entire sound field with life-like fidelity. Features: New to the Radius Range - ultra compact dedicated centre speaker New Dual C-CAM bass drivers with C-CAM tweeter in MTM style configuration - Radius features all new bass drivers with concave cone profiles, introduced by our top-of-the-range Platinum speakers and applied subsequently to Gold GX. Extensive research and FEA modelling have allowed us to perfect the relationship between the new radiating diaphragm and its motor design, introducing larger motor sizes and voice coils for increased excursion, higher power capability and reduced distortion. New C-CAM gold dome tweeter - optimised to deliver the finest and widest performance within the compact Radius cabinets. It benefits from a more efficient rear-venting design, releasing air trapped and compressed at the back of the tweeter dome, and guiding it around the drive assembly to a rear-loading chamber. HiVe II port design - Straight from Platinum’s design blueprint, the HiVe reflex port makes its Radius debut. It’s shaped to have the same effect on airflow as a gun-barrel on a bullet. Rifled grooves inside the port help to accelerate the flow and reduce turbulence, so air moves in and out of the port more efficiently, for a faster more dynamic bass response. Single through-bolt driver fixing provides mechanical de-coupling and enhanced mid-band clarity and resolution. The through-bolts also act as rigid cross bracing to give a very solid non-resonant cabinet. The Elipson Prestige Facet LCR14 speaker introduces a host of new innovative technologies in order to accurately deliver the dialogues, music and sound effects of the very best cinematographic productions. The most visible of these innovations is undeniably the ring of sculpted facets surrounding each driver, which gives the range its name. The Elipson Prestige Facet LCR14 is exclusively available in black, allowing the speaker to be seamlessly integrated into a dedicated home theater room. This versatile speaker is equipped with a pair of 17 cm low midrange drivers that feature a bullet-shaped phase plug to limit vibrations and, consequently, reduce distortion. These Elipson drivers are capable of reproducing frequencies as low as 43 Hz and have a continuous power rating of 150 W. A 25 mm soft dome tweeter reproduces highs with finesse and precision. The multifaceted, sculpted silicone surround rings encircling each driver reduce the baffle effect and limit diffractions. Consequently, dialogues are rendered with extreme precision. A wide dynamic range and smooth tones allow the viewer to be completely immersed in the cinematic experience. The speaker's steep-slope filter relies on highly efficient, audiophile-grade components. Their high sensitivity (93 dB) makes it possible to associate the Elipson Prestige Facet LCR14s with any A/V receiver. Calibrated to thrust the viewer into the heart of the action, these home theater speakers will reach their full potential in a 5.1 setup that includes an Elipson Prestige Facet SUB 8 or Prestige Facet SUB 10 subwoofer.
