Shanling offers with the M6 Pro 21 an updated and improved version of its M6 Pro player. This one now integrates a double DAC ESS ES9068AS, an amplification stage with a bigger power reserve, an Octa-Core Snapdragon processor, the integration of the AGLO technology or 3 independent outputs, balanced and unbalanced. The M6 Pro 21 is also a model of connectivity since it has both Bluetooth and WiFi. In general, the Shanling DAP is a little jewel of technology, ideal for all music lovers wishing to enjoy their music in optimal conditions, whether at home or on the move.

Dual ESS ES9068AS DAC

To ensure a rich, accurate and transparent sound reproduction, the M6 Pro 21 incorporates two ESS ES9068AS DAC chips. These high quality converters support high resolution audio streams up to 32bit 768kHz PCM and DSD256. The DAP also supports MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) files for a reproduction as close as possible to the original recording.

Full balanced amplifier stage

The M6 Pro 21 incorporates a fully symmetrical 4-channel amplifier stage, using low-pass technology with constant phase over the entire frequency range. This particular structure allows to reach a higher power, while offering better measurements and a high quality sound.

CPAF Technology

In order to solve the group delay problem of traditional low-pass filtering, Shanling engineers have designed a new audio circuit, based on advanced mathematical models, using Constant Phase in All Frequencies (CPAF) technology.

OPA2211

In this new version of the M6 Pro, the low pass filter uses better AOP from Texas Instruments, OPA2211, for a perfect association with ESS DACs.

ADA4610-2

The ADA4610-2 dual channel JFET amplifier from Analog Devices achieves very low noise and distortion while providing high output current.

BUF634A

The amplification stage of the DAP integrates 4 Texas Instruments BUF634A high speed buffers, significantly improving the output current.

Custom FPGA

The FPGA algorithm has been improved to achieve a higher level of clock accuracy for drastically reduced jitter and better playback performance in both PCM and DSD.

High power & Low noise

With three gain settings, the M6 Pro 21 can accompany many, many models of headphones and earphones on the market. Able to deliver up to 760mW of power at 32Ω, it will work with the most demanding headphones without difficulty. It also adopts low dropout regulators, ideal for more sensitive headphones.

Total MQA support

The M6 Pro 21's ESS DACs are designed to natively support the playback of Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) files, up to MQA 16x. So you can enjoy high quality sound.

Equalizers & Digital Filters

In order to fine-tune the sound reproduction according to your taste and your listening equipment, the M6 Pro 21 offers three different digital filters as well as a software equalizer within the Shanling Music application. The 3 available digital filters are as follows:

• Minimum Phase Slow Roll-off
• Hybrid Fast Roll-off

3 output modes

The M6 Pro 21 offers 3 different outputs to adapt to all uses. There is an unbalanced output on 3.5mm jack and two balanced outputs on 2.5mm jack and 4.4mm jack.

Android OS

Shanling's DAP is based on the Android operating system, allowing for a smooth experience and access to your favorite streaming apps but also DLNA streaming.

A seamless experience

Thanks to the use of a powerful octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor, combined with 4GB of RAM, the M6 Pro 21 offers a smooth experience, without any slowdown. It also comes with 64GB of storage space, expandable via Micro SD card.

AGLO Technology

The M6 Pro 21 uses Shanling AGLO, Android Global Lossless Output technology. This allows all audio streams, regardless of the source, to be processed at the highest level of quality, without degradation caused by the Android sample rate converter.

Shanling Music app

The default player for the M6 Pro 21 is the Shanling Music application. It offers a quick and easy user experience with many options to suit your listening style.

With you all day long

With an improved autonomy, thanks to the use of a 4000mAh battery, the M6 Pro 21 can accompany you for no less than 16h in unbalanced and single DAC mode. The load is also very fast, thanks to the Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

WiFi Streaming

The M6 Pro 21 benefits from WiFi connectivity supporting 2.4G and 5G bands, allowing for fast and stable transmission. This WiFi connectivity also makes it easy to perform DAP updates when available.

Bi-directional Bluetooth

WiFi connectivity is complemented by bi-directional Bluetooth 4.2. You can easily connect the M6 Pro 21 to headphones or speakers that also have Bluetooth connectivity. In addition, it supports aptX, aptX HD and LDAC codecs for enhanced wireless sound quality. The M6 Pro 21 can also receive audio streams via Bluetooth, for example from a smartphone, allowing the DAP to be used as a HiFi amplifier.

Bi-directional USB connection

The USB-C connection of the M6 Pro 21 is also bi-directional. It can therefore work as an excellent DAC / amplifier with any computer or smartphone. It is also possible to connect a USB DAC, turning the M6 Pro 21 into a digital interface.

Sharp HD IPS display

The M6 Pro 21 is equipped with a beautiful 4.7" Sharp HD IPS touch screen. This one allows an intuitive navigation. It is also protected by tempered glass and covered with an oleophobic coating.
