The SuperCenters are high performance center channel speakers appropriate for the highest quality home theater systems. They are designed to perfectly complement and match our Triton Towers and Aon Bookshelf loudspeakers, both sonically and cosmetically. Their sophisticated industrial design is both attractive and functional, both minimizing their apparent size as well as enhancing their acoustic performance.These center channel models incorporate a D’Appolito Array of two newly developed long-throw 5-1/4˝ bass/midrange drivers (four on the XXL) surrounding one of our signature High Velocity Folded Ribbon (HVFR) tweeters. The 5-1/4˝ drivers incorporate spiderleg cast baskets for rigidity and minimal internal reflection, as well as our unique multi-vaned phase plugs (MVPP), to minimize cross-apex wave propagation interference.They also utilize top-mounted pressure-coupled quadratic planar low frequency radiators that both extend the bass response as well as provide the bass/midrange drivers with ideal acoustic loading and damping. The SuperSat 3 and 3C are elegantly curved, compact satellite speakers designed for use when you want very high-performance yet small size, either for main left and right satellite, center channel or surround channel applications. A complete sub/sat system consisting of four SuperSat 3s, a SuperSat 3C and one of GoldenEar ForceField subwoofers has the power to fill an intimate room or a large grand space with glorious sound for your music or cinematic experience.Like SuperSat models, the 3C is the horizontal model optimized specifically for center-channel applications. The SuperSat 50 is a slim, 27” long, 2.5”-deep speaker which is available in both a vertical version (on-wall or on optional Table/Shelf or Floor stand) as well as a horizontal, center-channel-optimized version, the SuperSat 50C. Its powerful and dynamic output capabilities make it the ideal center channel for a Triton based theater system, as well as a perfect choice to go alongside a wall- or shelf-mounted flat screen. Flax is the answer to the low mass/rigidity/damping equation, leading to sound clarity and precision.  This unique Flax/Beryllium combination gives music incredible warmth and musicality. Made in France, this patented flax membrane has already proven itself in Focal home and in-car speakers. The midrange speaker uses TDM Tuned Mass Damping) suspension, and every Kanta speaker is also equipped with an NIC (Neutral Inductance Circuit) driver, which stabilises the magnetic field for perfectly defined sound and better controlled bass. Everything is designed and made to create acoustic softness and warmth: the density and stiffness of the baffle and shell materials, softened angles and double vents. The baffle is made of a new material to suit the acoustic parameters. It is moulded in one piece from high density polymer (HDP). This material has excellent performance: it is 70% denser than MDF, 15% stiffer and provides 25% more damping. The one-piece baffle totally eliminates any sound diffraction. Kanta incorporates Power Flow technology with two vents, on the front and rear faces, to limit bass compression.Focal's research is geared towards reducing distortion in every register. With Kanta, the treble register is reproduced by a new pure Beryllium tweeter. This IAL3 tweeter combines the principles of IAL (Infinite Acoustic Loading) and IHL (Infinite Horn Loading) tweeters, both of which help with the absorption of waves, thus lowering the tweeter frequency. Our engineers have revisited their choice of ‘Focus Time’, which corrects speaker alignment, making them the same distance from the ear.The rear shell is made in one-piece integrally moulded wood. The Zamac base also brings out masses of character. With its spikes and cups, the base provides great stability from a very small footprint. Final details: the glass-covered top and magnetic grille fixings. When these are removed, they reveal the speakers' flax cones, the final design touch that gives Kanta its unique look.A wide range of combinations are available to fit into every interior space.The back cover is available in High Gloss black lacquer and Walnut veneer. Sopra Center allows you to extend the Sopra experience to your Home Cinema. Sopra Center uses all the design aspects of Sopra loudspeakers in order to optimise integration into your home. The center loudspeaker is an essential component of home cinema systems because its role goes beyond reproducing just the dialogue. The mid-range must provide precision and coherence between the visuals and the soundstage. If the centre loudspeaker reproduces the majority of voices in the centre of the image, its spectrum is much broader and also includes music, sound effects and other sounds.The Sopra Center loudspeaker is the ideal complement for the other loudspeakers in the Sopra line: Sopra N°1 bookshelf loudspeakers and Sopra N°2 or Sopra N°3 floorstanding loudspeakers. Each model in the line offers high performance and consistency in terms of output, rendering and scale. Each speaker driver benefits from the same technologies: ‘W’ cones and pure Beryllium inverted dome tweeters. The Aria CC 900 2-way center speaker can be easily combined with the front speakers of the range.
