Upgraded inside and out. The new acoustic architecture replaces the single tweeter of the previous generation with two, unlocking a higher quality stereo soundstage. The precisely tuned woofer completes the listening experience with dynamic bass.

Double angled specially designed tweeters separate high and vocal frequencies into left and right channels. The specially designed woofer produces impressive bass in indoor and outdoor spaces.

Each speaker is driven by a digital amplifier (3 Class D amplifiers). Through a special version of the TRUEPLAY room acoustic correction software (Auto-Trueplay) it continuously adjusts its operation, for perfect performance in any open or closed space.

It has 6 built-in microphones (with a button to deactivate them, an LED indicating operation and sophisticated noise cancellation software) for voice control of the SONOS system, but also of other home automation devices, via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant (on WiFi connection).

The direction and dispersion of frequencies is precisely controlled, creating a wider and more balanced sound.
