The Goldring philosophy is to promote the accurate replication of the original record production, maintaining the creative nuances, musicality and rhythm the artist intended you to hear. With the versatile E Series, this is easy to achieve; each is designed to be simple to fit to the majority of budget to medium priced turntables. The E2 cartridge, the middle in the range, features the same spherical stylus profile as the E1 but with the additional benefit of an upgraded aluminium cantilever. This is both stiff and light weight allowing the stylus to more accurately trace medium to high frequencies offering more detail and reducing distortion and mis-tracking during loud passages. Magnetic Duplex Technology™ All cartridges in the range feature Magnetic Duplex Technology™-a 'dual magnet' generator assembly with an identical geometry to that of the original cutting head. This means it can more accurately reproduce the stereo information in the record groove, providing better channel separation and a more involving and musical sound stage. Expert Adjustment The E-series cartridges have been designed to allow micro-adjustments to be made during production using a special adjustment screw. This means the cartridge can be safely installed in a typical turntable because the angle that the stylus makes with the record surface has been pre-set. The result is an optimised channel balance with zero degrees of horizontal tracking adjustment required. This ensures a consistent and reassuring performance for the life of the product. Stylus/Cantilever Featuring spherical styli with a choice of cantilevers, the E1 and E2 models are ideal as an upgrade to any budget, pre-fitted or obsolete cartridge. The E3 model with its refined super elliptical stylus is a worthwhile upgrade for those wishing to squeeze even more information and detail from the record groove.

The Ania was inspired by the success of our Apheta and Aphelion MC models. Ania uses the same complex hand wound micro coil found in the rest of the range, and is housed in a unique PPS highly rigid body. This body is an exceptionally accurate design that includes Rega’s three point fixing to optimise connection to the tonearm headshell and automatically sets overhang when fitted to a Rega tonearm. The new body is protected by a CAD designed, clear rigid cover to protect the internal fine wires, making handling whilst fitting, safe and risk free. The Ania features a super high-powered, neodymium magnet and a coil meticulously hand wound on to an iron micro cross. This miniature assembly allows us greater freedom to track the vinyl groove ensuring even more detail is extracted from the vinyl.

The AT33MONO is designed specifically for use with mono vinyl records.* Due to the horizontal configuration of its PCOCC (Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting) voice coils, the AT33MONO cartridge only generates electrical signal with horizontal movement, yet it also has appropriate compliance in the vertical direction, making it safe for use with stereo records. The cartridge’s 0.65 mil conical stylus is mounted on a hard duralumin cantilever for excellent sound reproduction and dependable performance. Because the AT33MONO does not easily pick up unnecessary strain components from distorted or scratched records, it produces mono audio of a much higher quality than that generated by a stereo cartridge. The cartridge features a strong, rigid body and incorporates Hanenite rubber in the interior and cantilever fulcrum support to eliminate unnecessary vibrations. * This cartridge with 0.6 mil conical stylus is not compatible with SP (standard play) shellac records. It is designed to play microgroove 33-1/3 and 45 RPM vinyl records.

The AT-ART1000 (“ART” for Audio-Technica Reference Transducer) is Audio-Technica’s new flagship phono cartridge, handmade in Japan. Born of the pursuit of audio excellence that has driven A-T for more than 50 years, the AT-ART1000 introduces an innovative, audiophile design heretofore unseen in mass-produced cartridges. The cartridge’s direct power system places the dual moving coil directly on top of the stylus tip, ensuring that the audio quality does not suffer the negative effects normally introduced by the cantilever's length and material type. Having the coils move in such close proximity to the stylus tip allows the cartridge to vividly render even the most subtle sonic details and provide unsurpassed transient response. Each of the cartridge’s two coils is constructed of 20 ìm diameter PCOCC (Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting) wire, wound eight turns to a diameter of 0.9 mm to create a non-magnetic core coil. The 3-ohm coils are placed in the tiny 0.6 mm gap of a powerful magnetic circuit, enabling each coil to generate an output voltage of 0.2 mV. The AT-ART1000 features the same high-performance line contact stylus and solid boron cantilever found in the AT-OC9/III, enabling the cartridge to faithfully trace the record groove and reliably transfer the signal to the coils. The base that supports the specialized magnetic circuit and vibration system is made from titanium. This sturdy base is instrumental in providing consistent playback, and works in combination with the cartridge’s hard plastic cover and aluminum housing to disperse resonance that negatively affects the sound quality. *The AT-ART1000’s stylus assembly is not field-replaceable, but Audio-Technica offers a fee-based Cartridge Rebuild Program. Under this program, Audio-Technica will replace all assembly parts, including the stylus tip, cantilever, coils, and rubber dampers.

An update of the AT-ART7, the AT-ART9XA non-magnetic core MC cartridge features a Shibata stylus on a 0.28 mm diameter solid boron cantilever. The “ART” in the model number stands for Audio-Technica Reference Transducer, a designation that we give only to our flagship phono cartridges. Compared with the magnetic core used in most MC cartridges, non-magnetic core cartridges are free from magnetic distortion, allowing for natural timbre and a precise sound field. Although conventional non-magnetic cores struggle with output voltage, the AT-ART9XA features a newly designed coil armature with an improved output voltage of 0.2 mV (1 kHz, 5 cm/sec). The dual moving coils (fashioned from high-performance PCOCC wire) are aligned in an inverted V shape to provide high separation and wide response. Threaded cartridge mounting holes make installation to a headshell or integrated tonearm incredibly easy.

The original model of this stereo cartridge is the AT33ANV, which was available as a special release to celebrate our 45th anniversary. The A33ANV was the first in the AN33 series to feature a Duralumin cantilever, which received wide acclaim for its sound quality. Retaining the basic specification, we present a further improved and evolved model. The A33EV is a ½ inch, standard mount 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical cartridge featuring a tapered Duralumin cantilever which reduces the effective mass of the cartridge, resulting in a more durable cantilever. The Dual Moving Coil cartridge design increases channel separation and extends the frequency response range delivering extraordinary audio quality. Internally constructed with a neodymium magnet enhances magnetic energy and PCOCC wire for pure audio transmission.Elliptical stylus chip and durable duralumin tapered pipe cantilever.10Ω mid impedance specifications.Dramatically increased magnetism with neodymium magnets and PCOCC as the coil.High separation, wide-response dual moving coil.  VC Mold eliminates unnecessary vibrations."Hanenite" anti-vibration rubber eliminates unwanted vibrations.Specifications:Type: MC-typeFrequency Response: 15-50,000HzChannel Separation: 30dB (1kHz)Tracking Force: 1.8-2.2g (2.0g standard)Coil Impedance: 10Ω (1kHz)DC Resistance: 10ΩVertical Tracking Angle: 23°Recommended Load Impedance: More than 100Ω (when head amp connected)Coil Inductance: 22μH (1kHz)Static Compliance: 40×10-6cm/dyneDynamic Compliance: 10×10-6cm/dyne (100Hz)Output Voltage: 0.5dB (1kHz)Stylus Shape: Oval (0.3×0.7mil)Cantilever: Duralumin tapered pipeDimensions: H16×W16.6×D26.5mmWeight: 6.9g
