Debut Carbon EVO Time for Evolution. We have taken our most popular turntable design and improved every aspect of it. The result is an incredibly refined product. Refined in every aspect. Suspension Improved motor suspension The Debut Carbon EVO features our new designed motor suspension. We have improved the old design to consistently reduce the vibrations better than before. Metal Feet Damped & height adjustable The new Debut Carbon Evo stands on three height adjustable damped aluminium feet to guarantee the perfect stand. 1,7 kg Platter Heavy steel and TPE damped We added a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) ring on the inside of the platter. The result is an even quieter and noiseless operation with less wow and flutter. 33/45/78 RPM High precision motor control The rocker switch on the bottom of the turntable allows you to change speeds with the push of only a single button. The Evolution The Debut Carbon EVO focuses on the core aspects that make a turntable sound great. Technically correct design - expert craftsmanship - handmade in the EU. This turntable is built to last you a lifetime! Redesigned motor suspension We used our technology and experience gained from the past and fit damping techniques of highend turntables into the Debut Carbon EVO. Looking at more advanced TPE damping and highmass sandwich constructions we were able to come up with a new motor and suspension solution for the Debut Carbon EVO. Anytime the perfect stand Our new Debut Carbon EVO does not just look great - it also always stands perfectly level. It uses 3 height adjustable heavy-duty metal feet to ensure a level positioning on every surface. Controlled playback speeds Besides being able to effortlessly change replay speeds with the push of a button, the playback speed is electronically controlled with the utmost precision, which results in the most accurate and stable speeds. Damped From The Inside Our previous metal platter was already heavier than anybody else‘s on the market, but metal platters inherently have a disadvantage: resonance. Our TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) technology now helps to damp the resonance completely and also increases the weight to 1,7 kg. Because the TPE is mounted to the inside of the platter‘s rim, the moving energy will also create a flywheel effect. The result is an even quieter and noiseless operation with less wow and flutter. Clean Look & New Colours You wont find any button, switch or printing on the plinth to ensure the luxurious aesthetics. The speed control switch has been moved to the bottom of the plinth, to keep the clean look the Debut is known for. The Debut Carbon EVO is not only timeless by offering traditional high-gloss black, white and red finishes or our fabled real-wood walnut veneer. Completely new, unique and trend-setting are the beautifully realized satin signature finishes in 5 different variations. From the record to your amplifier. Ortofon 2M Red Moving-Magnet Cartridge 2M Red is an all-purpose cartridge that delivers open, dynamic sound with a slight touch of warmth. (*US Version comes with Sumiko Rainier) The Tonearm 8,6 inch carbon The new Debut Carbon EVO features the proven 8,6‘‘ one piece Carbon tonearm design. The super stiff, but lightweight tonearm delivers an insane sound quality with a convincing sound stage. Output Gold plated sockets You can always change your RCA output cable and upgrade it with your preffered one. The gold plated connectors will always provide the best connection. Phono Cable Semi-balanced RCA cable To guarantee a perfect connection to your amp you will find a high-quality phono RCA cable in the box. Our Connect it E is a semi-balanced, low-capacitance cable, with superior shielding.

Coreless Direct Drive Motor Achieving Stable Rotation The direct drive system uses a slow-turning motor to directly drive the platter. This system has various advantages. It offers high performance, such as rotation accuracy and powerful torque, does not require replacement of parts and maintains high reliability over a long period of time. On the other hand, the direct drive system was said to produce a rotation irregularity called cogging. For the SL-1200MK7, a new coreless direct drive motor was developed. This motor employs a coreless stator. The removal of the core (iron core) from the stator eliminated the root cause of cogging. Furthermore, the magnetic force of the rotor magnets was improved to the highest possible level, and the gap between the coreless stator and rotor magnets was optimised, thus achieving high-torque-performance equaling that of the SL-1200MK5. Boasting smooth rotation and powerful torque, this motor reproduces sound accurately and faithfully from the groove on an analogue record. Diverse New Functions Adapt to Various Playing Styles Torque / Brake Speed Adjustment The newest digital motor control technology, accumulated through the development of Blu-ray disc products, is applied to improve adjustment by allowing the torque and brake speed to be adjusted individually in four steps. The Pitch Control Function The pitch control function allows fine adjustment of the rotation speed within ±8 % / ±16 %. It does this through digital control, from positional detection of the slider to rotational control of the motor, eliminating the unnecessary DA conversion. This greatly improves tracking performance to achieve accurate and stable pitch adjustment. Reverse Play Function The reverse play function, which brings forth new possibilities of creative performance, makes its first appearance in the SL-1200 Series. In addition to 33-1/3 rpm and 45 rpm, a rotation speed of 78 rpm is supported. *The torque / brake speed adjustment, rotation speed switch, and reverse play can be adjusted by switches on the main unit. High Sensitive Tonearm The tonearm, which has continued to support the leading edge of the DJ scene for many years, inherits the highly reliable static-balance universal S-shape tonearm. Using high-precision bearings, it achieves a higher initial-motion sensitivity than the SL-1200MK6. This accurately tracks the groove on the phonorecord to assure excellent tracking performance with minimum stylus jumping even in harsh playing conditions such as scratching. Stylus Illuminator Featuring a High-brightness and Long-life White LED The stylus illuminator features a new push-type structure for intuitive operation, and employs a high-brightness and long-life white LED. The illumination area and intensity were reviewed to provide improved visibility of the stylus tip even in a dark environment. Power / Phono Cable Terminals The power and phono cable terminals allow detachment of the cables. The phono terminals are gold-plated to minimise sound quality degradation. Since the terminals allow disconnection of the cables, maintenance of the cables is easier. High-rigidity Cabinet and High-damping Insulator The chassis, an essential part for reducing external vibrations, inherits the audio quality enhancement technology fostered through the development of high-end turntables. The aluminium die-cast chassis is rigidly integrated with a special material consisting of ABS mixed with glass fibre to achieve a two-layer construction. The combination of this special high-rigidity material and a metal chassis raised the rigidity and vibration-damping performance to higher levels, realising a robust cabinet for beautiful sound reproduction. The insulator is comprised of a spring and rubber to provide optimal frequency characteristics. This not only assures high sound quality and superb howling resistance, but also effectively shuts out external vibrations under high sound level conditions.

Aluminium tonearm, computer connection & 3 speeds! The first Debut turntable, introduced in the late 1990s, was a revolution for the hi-fi industry. For the first time after the arrival of Compact Disc and the assumed demise of vinyl records, an analogue product re-emerged in the “mass market” – something all music lovers could afford. The new Debut RecordMaster II has been designed to set new standards in this category for the coming decade – perfectly timed as analogue today is again a respected source, while the demand for good turntables with all speeds is growing fast! It comes with improvements like an increase in platter size and weight to realize even smoother rotation, the overall sound quality is greatly improved. The approved belt drive design offers low noise AC motor with effective motor decoupling (utilising TPE), ultra precision frequency DC-driven AC generator for ultimate speed stability. Ultimate convenience is achieved, because of electronic speed change („Speed Box“) and the possibility of playing 78rpm. A simple exchange of stylus to OM78 (not included) and a drive belt turnover to larger diameter of pulley is required, that‘s all!Because Debut RecordMaster II comes with pre-mounted cartridge and built-in switchable phono preamplifier with USB output, connection to both line-level input of your hifi system and recording of vinyl to PC/Mac easily can be done simultaneously! Debut RecordMaster is offered in high-gloss black, red and walnut matt.

We believe it sets a new standard that will satisfy the needs of both audiophiles and ardent record collectors.Features at a glanceBelt-drive mechanism2-speed turntable supporting 33-? and 45 rpmKnife-edge, pivot-point tonearm, designed by high-end tonearm manufacturer SAECAluminum die-cast platterBuilt-in PHONO EQ amplifier compatible with MM-type cartridgesHi-fi grade op-amp, NJM8080, used in PHONO EQ stageAnti-skating mechanismPHONO/LINE analog output (switchable)Gold-plated oxidation-resistant output connectorsPre-installed AT-VM95E cartridge supplied by audio-technicaRigid, high-density MDF plinth with multi-layered lacquer finishShock-absorbing insulating feetGND terminalRoHS compliantKnife-edge, pivot-point tone-arm bearingsIn collaboration with SAEC Corporation, a world-famous, high-end tonearm manufacturer, the TN-3B's tone-arm employs a knife-edge, pivot-point bearing. Unlike the case for tonearms with conventional bearings, any fine vertical movements that take place in this tone-arm actually help in delivering a more dynamic sound with excellent resolution. The S-shaped tone-arm also employs a universal head-shell fitting, allowing users to quickly and easily swap cartridges/head-shells, and supports a wide range of cartridge weights (from 14 - 23g / 0.5 - 0.8 oz.)?Precision anti-skating and stylus-pressure adjustmentThe static-balanced, S-shape tone-arm is equipped with a counterweight for precise stylus-pressure adjustment, as well as an anti-skating mechanism for accurate tracking force adjustment, allowing the cartridge to accurately play any quality vinyl disc.Pre-installed VM-series cartridgeA VM-type cartridge the AT-VM95E manufactured by audio-technica exclusive for TEAC with an elliptical-shaped stylus tip comes pre-installed on the head-shell for convenience. After you’ve opened the box, set up the platter and mounted the head-shell on the tonearm, you'll be ready to enjoy your records.* Replacement styli should be available at the retail store where you purchased the unit, or via the TEAC On-line store. (TEAC On-line store is available in selected countries.)* The VM-series cartridge is a MM (Moving Magnet) type design, and is compatible with all conventional MM-type phono EQ amplifiers.Built-in MM-type phono EQ amplifierThe TN-3B-SE incorporates an MM-type phono EQ amplifier, allowing you to connect the turntable to a conventional amplifier/hi-fi system that lacks a PHONO input. A low distortion, hi-fi-grade op-amp, the NJM8080, is employed to boost the low-level signals from the phono cartridge up to LINE level.External belt-drive with aluminum die-cast platterA belt-drive arrangement is employed in order to minimise any motor cogging effects by driving the outer rim of the platter (which has a larger diameter, mass and surface area).Luxurious, multi-layer lacquer paint finishAll internal components are mounted on a robust and high-density MDF plinth for rigidity and vibration-deadening. Thanks to its sleek and stylish design, the TN-3B looks at home in most domestic environments, creating the perfect setting for listening to vinyl records.33-? and 45 rpm 2-speed turntableThe TN-3B-SE supports both 33-? and 45 rpm for LP and EP records. Our insistence on quality engineering can even be seen in the construction of the rotary control for start-up/speed selection, formed of machined aluminium.Insulating feet with excellent shock absorptionThe insulating feet comprise a machined aluminium shell, topped with a rubber cushion that is fixed to the high-density MDF plinth. Thanks to their excellent shock absorption characteristics, the TN-3B-SE is very resistant to acoustic feedback.Honeycomb patterned bottom panelIn order to achieve sleek cabinet design without compromising rigidity, the bottom panel is imprinted with a honeycomb pattern that minimises unwanted vibrations.
