Focal Demo Day @ SAE Athens

As part of the extra educational activities of the Audio department of SAE in Athens, a Demo Day was held in November, in collaboration with Athens Pro Audio. One of the largest and most experienced audio companies in Greece, which represents the Focal company.


Focal's Export Sales Manager, Benjamin Bouvier, presented the technologies and innovations of Focal's new studio monitors, starting with the flagship Focal Trio 11, as well as the updated version of the Solo 6.

Our Audio students had the opportunity to listen to the rest of Focal's range (Alpha Evo, Shape, SM9) in Control Rooms B, C and D of SAE.


The Demo Day ended with a short speech by the mastering engineer and owner of Athens Pro Audio, Mr. Christos Chatzistamou, creator of the Athens Mastering Studio 20 years ago, who has more than 5000 mastering discs to his credit.


Mr. Chatzistamou's talk was about the importance of "nice sound" and how it relates to mixing/mastering processes.

After the presentation, a pair of Focal Listen Pro headphones was raffled off! The lucky winner was our student, Manos Mamakis.
