For Elipson's 70th anniversary, the BS50 Tribute takes up the solutions used by its predecessor. The Elipson BS50 Tribute speaker illustrates the brand's taste for innovation and passion for design. The brand had managed to combine the two with the original BS50, a feature carried over to the BS50 Tribute. It features a spherical housing with an internal resonator. A design that meets a requirement for sound signal fidelity since it limits internal vibrations that can generate artificial colorations.

Also on the program, a coaxial speaker placed at the top of the sphere and which also presents many advantages. Indeed, such an architecture offers excellent coherence of timbres and flawless homogeneity of registers. With a generous diameter of 200 mm, the bass response is particularly effective since the Elipson BS50 Tribute can go down to 40 Hz. For its part, the 25 mm fabric dome tweeter offers perfectly defined treatment of high frequencies up to 20 kHz.

The other major feature of the Elipson BS50 Tribute is of course its shell-shaped acoustic reflector that overhangs the speaker. Originally, it was developed to compensate for the low power of amplifiers contemporary to the original BS50.
