The 3.3 is constructed using high quality components and comes complete with a tonearm, cartridge mounted, and dust cover.Speed ControlThe 3.3 has a built-in electronic speed control for 33/45/and 78. The platter speed switches from 33 to 45 rpm at the touch of a button. 78 rpm requires the movement of the belt to a different location on the motor pulley, and the use of a different belt, included with the turntable.Carbon Fiber Arm with Bonded Alloy HeadshellThis tonearm is unique to music hall. Bonding the alloy headshell to the carbon arm-tube stiffens and dampens the carbon fiber tube. This construction significantly improves the sound and performance over similar looking one-piece carbon arms. The alloy headshell allows you to securely mount the cartridge to the tonearm without the twist and flex that is common in lesser one-piece carbon arms. Tonearms should not twist/flex as this negatively impacts the cartridge and tonearm’s ability to properly track the record groove. On many one-piece carbon tonearms, you can literally pinch the cartridge end of arm between your thumb and forefinger and twist/flex the arm-tube. Try this with the music hall and the tonearm remains rigid as your fingers begin to ache. The arm itself is housed in a 4-point gimbal bearing construction using Swiss ABEC bearings. Manufactured in France, the Chroma 200 RIAA BT is a vinyl turntable with a satin black finish, incorporating an RIAA phono preamplifier and a Bluetooth APTX HD transmitter. It is equipped with an Ortofon OM10 cell, an aluminium arm with an arm lift for smooth handling. Gear selection (33/45/78 rpm) is automatic. It also benefits from a new digital drive motor, allowing a perfect rotation speed while being quieter.
In 2014, Elipson launched the first Bluetooth vinyl turntable on the market, 100% made in France.
6 years later, Elipson offers a new, complete range, while keeping the strength of the initial design of its Vinyl turntable and the know-how of its French factory.
Alpha, Omega and Omega Carbon make way for Chroma 200 and Chroma 400 and Chroma Carbon.
Many improvements have been made to these three ranges :
- arm lift on all models,
- new quieter engine and evolution of its damping decoupling
- new two-piece top for better flatness
- optimisation of electronic cards
- new finishes
Each of the boards will be delivered with a mechanical balance for an optimal adjustment of the cell.
