The Elipson IW8 in-wall speaker is the highest performing in-wall speaker in the Elipson Architect In series speaker range . This 2-way model can be powered by the majority of hi-fi and home cinema amplifiers on the market that support speakers with an impedance of 8 ohms.

The speakers in the Architect In series range from the French manufacturer Elipson are designed for integration into walls and ceilings. Intended for both communities and individuals, they are developed with the same quality requirements as traditional Elipson speakers . The Elipson IW8 built-in speaker can therefore be used for many applications: conference rooms, shopping centers, amphitheaters, restaurants, stores, hotels, professional premises, schools, high schools, private home cinema rooms, integrated hi-fi systems, etc.

The Elipson IW8 built-in speaker is a 2-way model equipped with a 20 cm diameter mid-bass speaker with a cellulose fibre cone and a 25 mm diameter silk dome tweeter. This can be oriented to optimise sound diffusion towards the listening area, regardless of the position of the speaker. Practical, the magnetic grille can be painted for perfect integration.

The Elipson IW8 built-in speaker offers a sensitivity of 87 dB for a maximum admissible power of 125 watts. Its frequency response extends from 55 Hz to 20 kHz, which makes it suitable for both background music and hi-fi or home cinema use, as a front speaker (left, central and right channels) and surround back. In hi-fi as in home cinema, the association with a subwoofer is strongly recommended to benefit from a more generous base in the bass.
