One of the microphones that Shure is most known for is the SM58, the Ultimate live vocal mic that has been used by some of the best known musicians in the world. The SM58 has had many different versions over the years, and the PGA 58 is the Alta's take on this seminal classic.
The PGA 58 is a fantastic mic for both lead singer and backing vocals when onstage. It's super durable, has an included on/off switch and a built in pop shield. The pop shield not only deadens the plosives inherent in vocals to make you sound great, it also protects the precious electronics inside the mic from water vapour from your breath as you sing; this results in an overall longer life without issues!
