Dual cassette system compatible with recording and playback. Dual cassette deck for professional use. The "202 MKVII" is a dual cassette deck that is the successor to the TASCAM 202MKVI. It is equipped with a dual system recording and playback mechanism that utilizes one-way IC logic transport control with excellent stability and durability. It is a profession dual cassette deck that includes many convenient functions for professional audio needs. Dual cassette deck capable of playback while switching between 2 cassettes Because there are two independent cassette mechanisms, the next song can be cued in Deck 2 while Deck 1 is playing. Furthermore, in "SPECIAL" playback mode, you can monitor the sound from one tape using headphones while the other tape is playing (outputting from LINE OUT), making it easy to cue another tape. * In "NORMAL" playback mode, as with conventional models, when playing a tape in either system, the sound is output from LINE OUT and PHONES. Noise reduction function to reduce hiss during playback A "NOISE REDUCTION" function is included that reduces hiss during tape playback. It is effective when playing a tape recorded with Dolby B Noise Reduction. * The noise reduction function only works for playback. MIC input and mixing function convenient for karaoke and announcements There is a MIC input on the front panel that is convenient for karaoke and announcements. It is possible to mix the playback from Deck 1 (or Deck 2) with the MIC input sound and record it to Deck 2 (or Deck 1), allowing you to record karaoke using existing tape material. It is also possible to record sound mixed from the RCA inputs and sound from the MIC input. Each input level can be adjusted independently. In addition, Deck 1 has a convenient pitch control function for karaoke. (Only playback) Parallel recording function that can reduce the time needed for dubbing cassettes Audio from an externally connected device can be recorded simultaneously to two cassettes in Deck 1 and Deck 2. A master tape and distribution copy can be created simultaneously for when distribution is needed after recording. Possible to create a digital archive of cassette tapes The rear panel is equipped with a USB terminal that can be connected to a computer. This makes it possible to create a digital archive of tape material using computer recording software. Features: Two cassette mechanisms capable of recording and playback One-way IC logic transport control with excellent stability and durability Supports recording and playback of normal tapes (Type I) and chrome tapes (Type II) * For metal tapes (Type IV), only playback is supported Noise reduction function to reduce hiss during playback (It is equivalent to Dolby B NR) Parallel recording function for Decks 1 and 2 that can reduce the time needed for dubbing cassettes MIC input with level control convenient for karaoke and announcements MIC mixing function: Possible to record sound mixed from the RCA inputs and sound from the MIC input on the front panel, Possible to record mixed playback from a cassette with sound from the MIC input "SPECIAL" playback mode that allows you to cue the next song on a tape by monitoring the sound with headphones while another tape is playing Timer playback/recording function for playing back and recording when the power is turned ON in collaboration with commercially available timers RETURN TO ZERO function that locates the tape counter to 0000 Repeat playback function (Between A-B, stops after 20 times) Convenient +/- 12% pitch control function for karaoke (Only playback) USB digital output.
