A Symphony of Speaker InnovationFocal leads the way in affordable nearfield monitors by combining breakthrough designs with technologies they first developed for high-end models such as their successful SM series. This Shape 65 is the 6.5" model in the Shape series, which brings top-quality Focal reference monitoring to your studio, editing suite, songwriting workstation, or any other application where your space may be limited but your need for accurate monitoring isn't. A cutting-edge flax-sandwich cone, M-shaped inverted-dome driver, innovative acoustics, and ideal electronics all add up to a speaker that's extremely linear and free from distortion, offering clear midrange intelligibility and imaging. And thanks to its dual-passive-radiator design, you can comfortably place your Shape 65s near walls, while enjoying extended low end that's still tight, controlled, and accurate.Raising the bar on glass speaker conesFocal first introduced their glass-fiber speaker cones in their SM series, where the extraordinary definition provided by their lightweight rigidity made them an instant hit among professional mix engineers. Focal's Shape series takes this speaker design one step further by introducing a layer of flax fiber, which is significantly more rigid and twice as light as glass fiber. They sandwiched this flax layer between layers of glass fiber, resulting in a piston-like low-frequency action and increased dampening. You'll be astonished by the low-frequency accuracy and midrange clarity these speakers offer. You couldn't ask for better compact nearfield monitors when it comes to critical mixing applications. Revolutionary M-shaped inverted-dome tweeter The Shape series introduces another major design upgrade to Focal's nearfield monitor technology by reimagining their already impressive aluminum-magnesium dome tweeter. For starters, the M shape itself provides increased rigidity, which offers many of the same advantages as the increased rigidity of their flax fiber cones: greater definition with lower distortion. The M-shaped dome works with its own dedicated TMD surround for an impressively linear response below 6kHz. This horn also comes outfitted with housing that provides equal horizontal and vertical directivity, and a less-directional profile overall. Finally, the magnetic component, which features a Kapton former in the voice coil, offers a lower high-frequency distortion than Focal has previously achieved in an affordable nearfield monitor. TMD surround ensures total midrange neutralityBeneath the elegant walnut veneer and meticulously calculated MDF enclosure, each Shape series studio monitor features a number of technologies that give them uniquely linear frequency responses. One of these is the TMD surround ringing either speaker. Strangely enough, this stabilization element comes from special architecture found at the top of skyscrapers such as Taipei 101. These suspended harmonic absorbers promote a more piston-like action that targets specific frequencies. In the Shape series, these surrounds produce a remarkably flat frequency response around 1kHz–2kHz, resulting in astonishing neutrality with virtually no measurable distortion. Double passive-radiators ensure low-end stabilityOne of the technologies Focal popularized in their previous generation upper-end monitors was the use of passive radiators. Just as they did in the SMseries, these passive radiators provide the Shape series reference monitors with an extended low-frequency response that goes far beyond what the seasoned studio engineers at Sweetwater expect from modest-sized nearfields.By balancing low-frequency harmonics with the dual surrounds highlighted above, these passive radiators accomplish what ports simply can't, providing you with low-frequency tuning that extends bass clarity and allows you to position your monitors closer to walls, without compromising accuracy. This detail makes them an ideal choice for small studios and editing suites. Next-generation amplification and electronicsIt's impossible to overstate how important a role the amplifier plays in the function of precision reference monitors such as Focal's Shape series, both in terms of pairing the appropriate electronics with the acoustic elements and in providing you with the flexibility needed to tailor the sound to your control room. Regardless of other settings, Shape series studio monitors provide a stable tonal balance at any volume, a key element in creating mixes that translate well outside the studio. At the same time, you can easily adjust your Shape studio monitors to your room, thanks to the tunable shelving filters and 160Hz crossover slope. There's also an adjustable highpass filter onboard, so you can cut out serious low-frequency problems or accommodate specific subwoofer setups.

2-Way 7" Active Monitor The SC207 is our mid-range two-way monitor speaker. The SC207 will be attractive to a large range of listeners, as its size and form factor make them appropriate for a lot of different rooms. Are you a home recording musician or producer? Not a problem. The SC207 has great power efficiency that will let you clearly examine what's happening in your music. Are you a post production professional working in a tight or smaller room? Not a problem. The modest and elegant size of the SC207, along with its quality precision, will make it great in your setup without overwhelming your working area. Whatever you're doing, the SC207 will be there for you. Tech Talk With the SC207, you will get an extended bass frequency response (down to 44 Hz), courtesy of our 6.5" SilverCone honeycomb structured woofer and driven by our 1.5" voice coil. The result is a very tight and dynamic bass, along with the usual greater linear excursion. A PWM amplifier, with protection-limiting and capable of delivering a short-term output power of 100W, guarantees that the SC207 will never run out of juice. And with a maximum output level of 106 dB (SPL @ 1m), you can be sure that there is plenty of power to make critical and precise judgements over your mixes. The SC207 is also the first EVE model monitor that uses our proprietary AMT (Air Motion Transformer) RS2. That means it can deliver a higher output level that is due to a bigger magnet system inside. As with every other EVE Audio speaker, you get both balanced XLR inputs and unbalanced RCA inputs for greater convenience. DSP With every EVE Audio speaker, you also get high resolution DSP electronics. One push knob operation and you will have access to accurate volume control and several different filter settings that will help you tailor your monitors to the way you work. And if you always avoid digital processing, we've got you covered. The DSP engine is supported with a high quality A/D converter from Burr-Brown, which delivers a pristine signal to the DSP section. And since the PWM amplifiers are directly connected to the DSP, no additional conversion is necessary. Please visit our DSP page to learn more about our DSP philosophy. Bass Port Design It's all in the geometry. One of the downside effects of port compression is bass distortion. As you turn up the volume, the efficiency of the port reduces and distortion will increase. We opted for a large rear rectangular port with no hard edges for our bass port designs. That's one of the reasons EVE monitors have a high efficiency on the lower frequencies. The results? High sound pressures with tight and punchy bass frequencies that don't cause port distortion. Crank up the volume, and EVE will deliver a round bass. And with no holes to look at every time you glance at your speakers. The price is referred to one unit. Price per unit.

Made in France the new Twin6 is a 2.5-way monitor offering unrivaled transparency, definition level, dynamics, and soundstage precision. It's Focus Mode uses a two-way configuration, preserving the sweet spot when mixing, saving space on the console and simplifying cabling and monitor changes.
Kali Audio LP-6 V2 is a 6.5 inch Studio monitor. It is designed to provide transparent sound to creators working in a variety of genres and formats at a price that makes it feasible. An advanced waveguide, a large voice coil and precision tuning make the sound extremely transparent, while the large low-frequency magnet and low-noise port provide strong, clear bass response. To make it easy to integrate into your settings, the speaker is self-powered and has a variety of inputs. DSP has Boundary EQ settings that optimize the response of the speaker to what is in the listening area.In the 2nd version it is an improved amplifier platform that offers lower noise, higher sensitivity and smooth high frequency response. Boundary EQ settings have been updated based on user feedback, and the low-frequency driver cone has less mass for a more consistent response.

The Grimm Audio LS1 is the most technologically advanced loudspeaker system ever!A good monitor combines a high degree of accuracy with untrammeled musicality. There aren't many of those around - common wisdom has it that you can have one or the other but never both. The LS1 is the first monitor to prove conventional wisdom wrong.By integrating top quality digital signal processing, converters and amplifiers in one of the speakers' legs, Grimm Audio was able to apply technical strategies no one had used before. As a consequence, the LS1 is not just a loudspeaker, but a complete audio system that only needs an analog or digital line source to perform.“This speaker is explicitly for those who want the most neutral and transparent sound reproduction, no corners were cut.”True accuracy is about getting all the bits in the right place: not losing anything, not adding anything either. The LS1 offers this accuracy, reproducing a truly musical recording accurately, with all beauty intact. At the same time, the LS1 will also reproduce any imperfection, giving you all the information you need to get it right. These qualities make the LS1 an ideal monitor for both mastering and mixing.Don't let the stylish industrial design and finish fool you: the shape of this loudspeaker is the outcome of thorough psychoacoustical and acoustical research. Its small sealed box (14 litres) is much wider than it is deep, is designed to provide an effective baffle down to around 250 Hz.That way, the LS1 achieves a reasonable constant directivity in 2π space above 250 Hz (with a natural and progressive “narrowing” of its high frequency off-axis response) minimizing many of the listening room’s detrimental effects (Psychoacoustics tells us that below about 300 Hz the ear will no longer clearly discern direct sound, first reflections or reverberant sound), while below 250 Hz the speaker gradually transitions to omnidirectional.“The wide baffle halves the volume into which the sound is radiated, thereby halving room problems as well. The cylindrical sides eliminate the classical "big box" colouration that is caused by edge diffractions.”The LS1 is suspended between two half cylinders that combat diffraction and function as an integral two-legged floor stand. An 8" magnesium woofer and a 1" dome tweeter divide the work between them. Smart use of DSP linearizes the frequency response and allows for a controlled bass response down to 35 Hz.Housed in one of the two legs are a 48/76-bit DSP, digital I/O, AD/DA converters, the same clock circuit as Grimm’s own CC1 master clock and the drive electronics, encompassing two 180W Class D power amplifiers of the groundbreaking Hypex NCore type. The concept of the LS1 draws maximum benefit from intelligent application of DSP technology. An IIR crossover imposes exact LR4 acoustic slopes crossing at 1550 Hz, and the phase is subsequently corrected using an idealised inverted all-pass filter, resulting in a maximally linear phase response without any pre-echo’s. This removes the “digital loudspeaker sound signature” typical of the more ubiquitous impulse inverted FIR designs.“The waveguide tweeter, the perfectly pistonic woofer (both by the world famous Seas company) and the very low crossover frequency insure that the sound is radiated in an unusually wide and even manner.Grimm LS1’s carefully controlled acoustics form the basis for the active DSP based filter which welds the driver responses together into the most even-handed frequency response and the fastest impulse response you'll ever hear.”The LS1 is also a very practical loudspeaker. Its digital input allows them to be connected without further ado to network players like Squeezebox or Sonos, or to a Mac or PC using the included USB converter. The pictures on the right hand show a few options.Despite their compact size, these floor standing speakers are clearly intended as main monitors in mastering studios and mixing rooms that have space to put free-standing speakers. The DSP controlled analog subwoofer output allows for easy integration with stereo subwoofers, for those that need high SPL performance below 40 Hz.By selecting Grimm’s own LS1s subwoofers, perfect integration with the main system is obtained, effectively turning the LS1 into a threeway system.More info can be found at the LS1 remote and the LS1s subwoofer page. For Measurement Charts (both in-house and third party – German Audio Magazine’s May 2013 issue) and photos of the LS1 please refer to the pictures section of this page.Features:Unidirectional down to 250 HzDSP controlled frequency curveWell-behaved off-axis responseDigital and analog audio inputsFiltered analog subwoofer outputFail safe due to excursion and thermal limiterMidi control of volume and settingsSuper low distortion NCore class D power ampsAudiophile quality Seas driversRemote control optionDifferent color scheme options Specifications:· Frequency response: 55Hz-30kHz +/-0.5dB. 45Hz-40kHz -3dB(Low corner is user-settable between 35 Hz and 100 Hz, Q=0.7 or 0.5)With the addition of the LS1s Subwoofers, the LS1 can perform almost down to the infrasonic range· Deviation from minimum phase +/-2°· Amplifier power: 2x180W· Max SPL: 109dB/1m· SNR: 114dB (unweighted)· Crossover function: 1.55 kHz LR4, sum corrected to minimum phase.· Latency: 2ms· Internal volume: 14 litres· Height: 1150mm, 1450mm - available on demand.· Width, depth: 520mm X 160mmFurther Resources:· Download the LS1 PC remote software
Designed in conjunction with the expertise of mixer Chris Lord Alge, the CLA10 studio monitors are the faithful modern reproduction of the most iconic studio monitor of the last 30 years. Mix with the studio monitors that truly define "the sound of hits".CabinetA tremendous amount of attention has been put into ensuring that performance matches that of the original speakers. CLA10 is made from MDF with a real wood veneer. We changed the rear terminal plate to use a better grade of connector. The crossover network uses the same value capacitors – just a better grade of material and rating. The inductors exactly match the original in dc resistance, winding dimensions and valueDriversThe AV10-MHF tweeter dome went through a difficult engineering process to get the exact phenolic resin doping to match the original performance curve. We do this in-house to ensure and exact match with every lot. The AV10-MLF woofer uses custom tooled mechanical parts that recreate the original. The AV10-MLF woofer cone is made to match the original. One of the original vendors is our supplier and we worked closely with them to get the same stiffness and weight. The main difference is we chose to go with a pressed cone as opposed to a lapped. This allows tighter control over stiffness and weight. All of our testing revealed no tonal difference or response between ours and the original. This has the added benefit of being the first time matched pairs are truly availableSpecifications System Type: Passive - full-range two-way stereo pairFrequency Response: 60Hz-20,000Hz (Accessible musical range)Power Capacity: Program – 60W, Maximum – 120WSensitivity: 90dB SPL (1W, 1m on axis)Components:Low Frequency: AV10-MLF 18cm coneHigh Frequency: AV10-MHF 3.5cm soft domeCabinet: 10.4 liter sealed design, 18mm MDF with real wood veneerCabinet Dimensions: 381.5mm x 215mm x197.5mm ( 15”x 8 ½”x 7- ¾ ” )Cabinet Weight: 6.3kg / 13.9 Lbs (each)Warranty: 5 Year Limited Warranty to original purchaser

The KRK ROKIT series has reigned as among world’s most trusted studio reference monitors for decades. The Generation Five (G5) iteration seriously ups at ante with three innovative voicing modes, DSP room tuning, and a new driver design that extends the frequency range plus provides enhanced damping and modal breakup control. KRK ROKIT G5 monitors also feature Class D power amplifiers that utilize the famous KRK brickwall limiter and a front-firing port that accurately reproduces low end, in addition to allowing more options for pacing your monitors. To help you set up your listening environment, the KRK ROKIT G5 retains an LCD as well as the ultra-handy KRK App for both iOS and Android. Finally, the KRK ROKIT G5 features an LCD that helps you visualize 25 different graphic EQs — the only monitor in its class with such a feature.Voicing Modes let you create, mix, and troubleshootThree Voicing Modes — Mix, Create, and Focus — provide the flexibility of three monitors in one. First, Mix mode provides you with a flat frequency and phase response for when it’s time to mix and master. Next, Create mode is meant writing and producing music, and it’s also an excellent setting for casual listening. Finally, Focus mode focuses on midrange frequencies so you can precisely correct any “honkiness” in your mixes.DSP Room Tuning with LCDWhile Sweetwater mix engineers champion mixing with your ears and not your eyes, they also know that visual feedback can be handy. That’s why they laud the KRK ROKIT G5’s LCD, which lets you visualize 25 different EQ combinations — the only monitor in its class that utilizes such a feature. In conjunction with the KRK ROKIT G5’s DSP-driven Room Tuning, this functionality helps you deftly address acoustic problems in your listening environment.Class D amps and front-ported cabThe KRK ROKIT G5 monitors brandish a couple of significant analog features. First, they utilize custom Class D amplifiers that both evenly power the drivers, improve efficiency at reduced temperatures, and work alongside the revered KRK Brick Wall Limiter to achieve and maintain a more balanced sound, wider dynamic range, and protect your system from mishaps. Second, the KRK ROKIT G5’s front-firing port provides you with a more focused bass representation and gives you much more flexibility regarding your monitor placement.
