The legendary RB330Designed using the latest 3D CAD & CAM technology, the new RB330 is the culmination of more than 35 years of tonearm design experience. Featuring a brand new bearing housing and our latest tonearm tube designed using intelligent redistribution of mass, ensure this arm will exhibit fewer points of possible resonance.Extreme stability with almost friction free movement from the new high precision bearing assemblies guarantees to gather more information from your vinyl than ever before. Featuring a new bias assembly, re-designed stiffer vertical bearing housing, integrated arm clip and an improved spring housing with easier to read numbers. Rega made, new low capacitance phono cable with Neutrik plugs. Improved lower friction, precision horizontal and vertical bearings.Rega is famed for its tonearm designs. One unique characteristic of these designs is the achievement of near frictionless movement horizontally and vertically whilst having no measurable free play in the bearing assemblies (and in reality one or two microns of pre load). So, why has Rega spent over thirty years and invested so heavily in this area of tonearm design where the removal of even microns of movement has been pursued?
The Nostatic Arm is the modern version of the formerly well known “Dust Bug” by Cecil Watts. The Nostatic arm incorporates a carbon fiber brush that removes the static electricity from the record during playback, and at the same time picks up the loose dust before the stylus reaches that part of the record. The Nostatic arm has an earth wire which is connected to the earth of the record player or the amplifier. The height can be easily adjusted to fit most record players. It also has a sliding weight in order to adjust the “dusting force” of the brush. Finally the base of the brush has sticky tape so if preferred it can be stuck to the surface of the record player for easy use.
DescriptionThe TecnoArm “A” is a fundamental mechanical rebuild of the well-known RB202 tonearm, to which is added monolithic wiring of the highest quality. Please Note: This tonearm does not come with a cartridge. The arm tube is bead-blasted and perforated, which disperses structural resonances and yields a lower effective mass. The arm wand is internally damped to reduce resonance further, and the headshell is machined flat, to allow true azimuth relative to the bearing cradle. After modification the bearings are re-adjusted for highest possible performance, according to original Rega procedures.

The RB3000 tonearm is packed with new features pushing the boundaries of tonearm design. As with all Rega tonearms, each one is meticulously hand-built by a team of highly skilled technicians. The R3000 uses improved bearings with each one being hand selected to be an interference fit with the paired spindle matching both the inside and outside diameters. This is a Rega developed method of increasing the amount of detail retrieved from the record surface, designed specifically to maximise performance of the tonearm and cartridge (cartridge sold separately).Advanced design, precision engineeringThe entire tonearm structure is designed to have the minimum of mechanical joints whilst using the stiffest materials in all critical areas. The tolerance of the RB3000 tonearm is so tight that no adhesive is used at any point throughout the construction. A brand new, low mass, precision engineered, vertical bearing assembly has been manufactured to further complement the inherent design philosophy of the Planar 10 turntable. The RB3000 uses the latest award-winning Rega arm tube. Each one which is meticulously hand polished (keeping mass to an absolute minimum) and has been completely redesigned to redistribute mass and further reduce stresses and resonances. This advanced design tube increases the stiffness and rigidity of the overall assembly whilst reducing stress on the bearings even further.
Designed using the latest 3D CAD & CAM technology, the new RB880 is the culmination of almost 40 years of tonearm design experience. This tonearm features a new aluminium vertical bearing housing, a redesigned sleeve and vertical bearing shaft (both manufactured from stainless steel) to improve mounting stability and overall rigidity. The advanced tonearm tube is designed using intelligent redistribution of mass, ensuring this arm will exhibit fewer points of possible resonance.Fine tuning an iconThe extreme levels of stability achieved, coupled with almost friction free movement from the high precision hand matched bearing assemblies, guarantee to gather more information from your vinyl than ever before. You will also find a Rega made new low capacitance phono cables terminated with high specification phono plugs.Rega is famed for its tonearm designs. One unique characteristic of these designs is the achievement of near frictionless movement horizontally and vertically whilst having no measurable free play in the bearing assemblies. A brand new low mass precision engineered vertical bearing assembly has been manufactured to further complement the inherent design philosophy of the Planar 8 turntable. The RB880 uses the latest Rega arm tube. Completely redesigned to redistribute mass and further reduce stresses and resonances. This advanced design tube increases the stiffness and rigidity of the overall assembly using CAD design to blend the multiple varying tapers.Externally we have fitted a bespoke Rega designed low capacitance phono cable. Which uses an advanced phono plug assembly. This has only two parts to minimise joints and incorporates a twist and clamp design locking the plug to the terminal. The design increases connectivity and ensures the signal path is kept as clean as possible.
This REGA RB 202 tonearm is the heir to the famous RB 250 and 251 featured on the Planar 2 and P2 series. The care dedicated to the new vertical and horizontal ball bearings results in minimum friction during displacement along its axis and hence minimising playback errors. It is the first in the range to use a tube built out of a single piece of pressure cast alloy. This element, identical to the RB 303, gives it great rigidity, low resonance and great groove tracking precision. Like on the legendary RB1000, it is secured to the turntable by three points for amazing mechanical stability. This tonearm is very efficient and, like all Rega products, highly musical. It is naturally possible to pair it with the manufacturer's cartridges like the Bias, Elys or Exact, though it is multipurpose and works very well with many moving coil and magnet cartridges. Yet another job well done on the manufacturer's record and certainly a benchmark for its price… In any case, we don't know of any serious competition in this range, except its elder brother the RB303!
